A/N: NARRATORS POV
over the past few days, Holton and Tommy have been getting along, I know I'm just as surprised as you are. They still hated each others guts but nothing could change the fact that their brothers
As valentina walked in her house after dropping off Tatum and Joey, she was surprised and shocked to see her dad home and not at work
"Hey sweetheart, you okay?" Lorenzo, Tina's dad said looking at her
"What the hell are you doing here?" Tina asked already overwhelmed with everything
"Well I do live here, Tina" he chuckled but stopped seeing her serious
"I got off duty early and I didn't know you were out this late" he cleared his throat then became serious as well
"I'm not doing this right now" she replied heading upstairs
"You are gonna do this right now Valentina" he followed her "why didn't you tell me where you were?"
"I don't have too dad, even if I did you wouldn't have responded" she replied back dryly
"Valentina I'm talking to you, why are you even out this late, your to young and it's to late to even be out-" he got cut off
"How would you know dad?! Your not even home half of the time, every time I come home I hope your here but your not and I keep hating myself for getting my hopes up knowing your to busy for me! I'm old enough to do a lot of things dad! And if your that concerned on what I'm doing this late at night so much, I was at the Gallagher's house with lip eating dinner like a family should!" Tina shouted at her dad, rushing to her room as she finished
Lorenzo stood there looking down at his feet guilty, but they weren't the only ones that were arguing that night
"Why are you even here?! You didn't watch me or Joey grow up and now you want to come back and claim us as your kids?!" Joey heard junior yelling as she walked up the driveway
"Junior? What's going on-" she cut herself off as she seen her mom "Tory what the hell are you doing here?!"
"Joey! Hey honey" Tory tried to hug her but she backed away "oh come on Joey Lynn, don't be like that"
"Don't call me that! You have no right to be here after how many years!" Joey shouted knowing that she was out of it
"I jus- I just need a place to stay for a while okay? Just to spend time with you guys before-" she gets cut off
"Before what?! Before you spend all our money? Or before you get irritated with us and leave all over again!!" Joey couldn't hold it in anymore
"You need to leave" jones walked into the house after a long shift
"Jones baby, please I-" Tory begged him
"Get out of my house Tory!" He finally snapped
His shout shook the whole house, it made Joey and junior jump, Tory looked at him hurt but he couldn't tell if it was the drugs or if it was actually her.
As she walked out the house, Joey went straight to her room and broke down, she'd never admit this to anyone but she was scared of her mother, scared she would sneak back into the house and beat her like she did before so she packed some clothes for the night and snuck out, making sure not to make any noise
She knocked on the door waiting for someone to answer it, after a while someone finally opened the door, she looked up only to be met with Holton's tired eyes
"Joey? What are you doing here so late?" He asked letting her inside
"Sorry Holton I didn't mean to wake you" she replied back
Holton looked at her so confused until he saw her puffy red eyes becoming watery again, he sighed and hugged her tightly
"She came back Holton, she came back" she sobbed get quieter and quieter by each word
"Shh it's okay, your okay, I'm here" he said comforting her and kissed her forehead
Tommy came out of the room to see the pair and he smiled, he felt a hand on his back
"Hey what's going on?" He heard a whisper in his ear
"Look at them" he whispered back to her
"I knew it, just by the look he gave her" she whispered back to him
"Come on let's go back to bed" he replied as he couldn't stop smiling at his brother and Joey
He walked back into his room as he closed the door, getting back into bed as Tatum cuddled into him, laying her head on his chest
"If you ever tell anyone about this, I'm gonna kill you" Tatum said to him with her eyes closed
"I won't, just as long as I'm with you" Tommy replied back playing with her hair
"Let's just hope Holton doesn't say a word, especially to my brother" she said before finally going to sleep
