"... Teok, I need you to deal with the
issue by yourself, can you do that?
Jay and I have to take a detour,
something's up."

Jake held the steering wheel with
one hand while the other held a
phone on speaker. Niki sat in
the back, trying his best not to glance
behind him. Jay sat in the front
passenger seat, his anger can be seen
through his frustration in his own
silence.

The boy over the phone shuffled
around. "... I can do that. Is everything
okay? I can send some men over."

"It's fine, I got it under control," Jake
says, turning right. "We can't have him in danger, so we can't have him being seen near the area."

"Will do."

"And inform Sun to meet me in hwang
Hospital," Jake looks at the mirror
to see Niki's uncomfortable expression. "His brother is with us,
and he isn't safe until we know who's
following us. Sun needs to take him
home safely-"

"No!" Niki shakes his head, "Im
staying! I-I should know what's going
on!"

"... Take another detour," Jay
bluntly says, "They're following two
cars behind us."

"What?" Jake glances at Jay,
panic flashing from his eyes.

Jay rested his elbow against the
window and rested the side of his head with his palm. He sighs, "That car has been following us for twenty minutes, they take turns once and a while but they're still on our route."

"Fuck!" Jake hissed, "Which car?"

"Blue," He replies back. Calm.

Jake glances at his side view mirror,
before pursing his lips. ".. We're going
to my mother's."

"That's a nice gesture to see your mom
and shit, " Niki says, "But we're
being fucking followed!"

"Language!" Jay hissed, whipping
his head back and glaring at the
younger. "What did I say about how to
speak?"

Niki frowned, scoffing before
shrugging and flinging his shoulders
back. Crossing his arms and slouching
on the car seat. "My apologies. "

The man turned back around,
running his fingers through his hair
frustratingly. "What makes you think
we'll be safe at a hospital?"

"We can't make you look suspicious
nor can we bring them to the place"
Jake says, "Listen. Today we just
visit my mother, and you re going
home with me, okay? That's all we're
going to do. Teok will update us on that kilo issue tomorrow." Jake turned and entered a hospital parking lot, specifically looking for a spot near the entrance.

As soon as he parked, they took a moment to observe  the area. The blue car had driven off after they entered the secluded area.

All three left the car. Niki by Jays side, pursing his lips and keeping his head low. Jake looked at Jay before suddenly grabbing his hand, and holding it tight. Fingers interlocking.

Jay opened his mouth to
question, but Jake cut him off.
"My mother thinks we're seeing each
other," He says, "... Do this for me,
okay?"

Jay looked down at their hands
intertwined before hesitantly nodding. Niki following behind him,
secretly holding Jay by his coat
sleeve.

They entered the hospital not noticing
the snaps of a camera and a very, upset Heeseung.
