the energy of the sky rules the winds, clouds and rain. this energy reached the ground and embodied itself in lake gyeongcheondaeho. a country was built around this lake. the country was named daeho due to the enormous lake it had. daeho, a place that does not exist in history books or maps. humans who possessed the power to control this energy were called mages.
there were five great families who protected the country of daeho. they were the park, jin, seo, jang and lee families. they always ensured peace and wellbeing of the country.
park dang-gu, the heir of songrim, who had the energy of a hot summer. jin cho-yeon, the youngest daughter of jin family having the vitality of spring. the genius of the seo family who was as noble as the sunset in fall; seo yul. the successor of the jang family, jang uk, who was as dazzling as the white snow. the heiress of yisewan, lee so-hee, who was as graceful as rain. together, the children of the five great families were called 'the five seasons'.
