Chapter 1

" Kavya! Ruk jaa! " Maya shouts from behind and I stop to look back. She was running in my direction,with a slight smile on her face. As soon as she reached towards me, she held my shoulders for support,and bent down while taking deep breaths. " Relax,girl. Relax. " I speak, chuckling. She stands up straight and wraps her arm around my shoulders as we start moving. " Why were you in such a hurry? " I spoke. " Nothing. Just,you were walking ahead without me so I had to rush towards you. " She said in an annoyed tone. I purse my lips to hold my laugh. Well, We are at college. I have my dance class after some time. Dancing,you can say, is my happy pill. I am the happiest when I dance. We walk through the corridor and go down, we see only a few people. Confused, I ask Maya " where are the people? ". " I don't know,but let them be. Let's go." She replies, unbothered about all the people. We just walked, talking and laughing . " Let's go and eat something. " I say and we go to the canteen to eat something. I sit on one of the tables and Maya goes to take our food. A boy comes and asks " May I please sit here? " He says in his deep , cold voice. " Yes of course. " I speak with a smile on my face. He sat and started eating his food. " Well, what's your name?"
I speak, breaking the silence. He chews and swallows his food and speaks " Darshan. Darshan Raval." Darshan Raval, I've heard about him from Maya. She says he is the coldest out of all of us. " Kavya Srivastava." I say, still smiling. Maya arrives soon and sat. We have a talk from our eyes. Bestfriend telepathy. ' Why is he here?' she asks. I shrug. And just like that,we finish our food and walk out of the canteen. Darshan had already gone.
" Girl,his voice was so deep and cold but at the same time sweet and lovely! " I say, telling her everything. " Wait. You heard him? " She asks in disbelief. " Yes of course I did. He asked me if he can sit there." I casually spoke. " You know he doesn't speak to anyone except his close ones?" She tells me. " Oh.Is that so? " I say.
"Yes" she speaks. It can be.
