The next day, I was walking to college. I was not well today but of course I had to go, exams. Who made exams ? Send the person in front of me and call an ambulance. Just let me beat the shit out of him! As I reached college, I saw Darshan standing, waiting for someone. I ignored and walked past him. After not many seconds, I felt someone walking beside me. I looked up to see who it was and, it was Darshan. I was moved by seeing him beside me. Passing a soft, small smile to him, I started walking again. " Uh...um. Kavya. I need to talk to you." He finally uttered. I clutched on the straps of my bag, tightly. His voice was rough, cold but at the same time sweet and curious. " Hmm. What is it about? " I asked. " First let's sit somewhere and then talk." He spoke and I nodded. After keeping our bags, we went to a bench and sat there. " Tell me. " I say in a soft tone. He looked into my eyes and for the first time, I felt like there was something in his eyes that made me feel weird. His eyes were the most beautiful pair of eyes I had ever looked into. So beautiful that I would rather look into them for my whole life than look at any masterpiece. " Umm actually kavya...." He paused, hesitating to speak. " C'mon. You can talk. I'm listening." I assured. " Actually.... Avish likes Maya. " He blabbered. " Avish what ? " I asked being totally shocked. " Avish likes Maya." I stared at him, shocked. " I...I was about to ask you about this. Maya likes Avish too." I said and let out a soft chuckle. " Wait....what to do ? " Darshan asked. I looked at him with a done face. " We need to get them together. I can see it in Maya's eyes how much she loves him." I said. Well, they have been friends for a long time, maybe for more than 2 years. They were in the same school. Same class and now same college. Maybe someday, same house too. " How ? " He questioned. Maya was right, he doesn't know how to utter complete sentences. Just one word answer. " Think about it. If you get an idea, tell me. Vice versa." I said. " Listen... We can have a Diwali party. Just us,your friends,my friends. That's it. Maybe a small one and in that party, we'll somehow make them confess. How about this ? " I explained as if I was a science teacher. " Place ? " He quietly asked. " At your place." I confirmed. " Ok. Good." He chipped softly. We co-existed in silence for some time. " Why don't you speak to anyone?" I said out of the blue and regretted. I mentally slapped myself. " I don't feel like it. " He said. " Oh. May I know why? " I asked. " Umm..." He was hesitating. " You can tell me. I won't judge nor I would say anything." I softly spoke. " My mother passed away when I was 13.Nobody , absolutely no one listened to me and said that It was a bad luck of I spoke " he took a pause and again continued. "...I left home." He said. " Oh. I'm sorry. " I said. " It's not your fault." He softly said. " But listen, your voice is not a bad luck to anyone. Infact, it's music to some. You know, you're so strong! Even I lost my mother at a young age. Got to hear many things, so I moved here. Even I live alone. But look at me, did I change myself for that? No. I didn't. " I took a deep breath and continued. " You don't have to change for anyone. " I softly consoled him. " Thank you." He said with a soft smile on his face. Damn! His smile is so beautiful! I smiled back. We had a discussion about Avish and Maya. It was all good.

( Ahaa! Kavya is.... Chalo wait karte hai. Also, give me a nickname for kavya❤️✨)
