Chapter 4

Days passed, me and darshan became very good friends. Diwali was near and we were all set to have our new couple. I was excited af . I decided to take a bus to college as my legs were aching a bit today. As I entered college, I did not see Darshan today. Shrugging it off, thinking he might be inside, I walked in. Keeping my bag in my locker, I went to Maya. She was looking at me like she would burst out of happiness anytime soon. I smiled at her and said " kya baat hai ? Badi khushi ho rhi hai tujhe?" I asked. " Uhh... Avish, invited me to his Diwali party." She nervously said. " Ohooo! Sahi hai yaar! Lagta hai mujhe mere jiju mil hi jayenge." I teased. She slapped my arm playfully. " Hatt." She was a blushing mess right now. " Are meri baat sun. Mere paas kuch pehnne ke liye nhi hai! " She cried. " Teri cupboard puri bhari hui hai madam! " I said. " Wo saare Western hai! Diwali pe Western pehnungi main ? " She scolded. " Okay okay. Main dekh lungi." I said. She smiled heartily and hugged me. " Thank you meri Jaan" she said. " Are Teri Jaan ne to tujhe invite kiya hai na!" Once again, I teased. " Tu bhaag yaha se " she said blushing. I smiled at her. Darshan suddenly approached me, " Hi Srivastav! Diwali party rakhi hai, aana ,okay? " He said while smiling. His smile, damn! It's heavenly! " Apka hukum sar aankhon par!" I said dramatically. He slightly laughed and left. " Aha! Kuch kuch hota hai ? " She teased. " Tujhe hota hoga.Mujhe to nhi hota." I said. She just teasingly smiled at me. " Chal ab." I said and we walked, our hands clasped together.
