Here we are the FINAL chapter! But I do plan on a small story for Akira Lucas and Ryle at some points respectively trying to keep up in their lives, later on, that goes more with Lucas being in Serendipity mental hospital & Specialist Center.
_ Akira's POV_
Not long after Lucas had called the cops, or said he did, Chris knocked Luke out and tied him up with his belt. I kept my eye on Lucas who was looking at the burning cabin with dazed blue eyes. I sighed racking my brain for a solution to all of this, but I couldn't because the thought of Lucas lying about the police clouded my mind. What if this is part of Luke's plan? What if Lucas turns with the same look of blood lust in his eyes as his brother? My worries were soon cleared up by the sound of the police car's sirens. Not far from the narrow grown path I had travelled on was a larger path that looked like it was made for cars.
After arresting Luke and taking Alora's Semi-burn body away I could relax a bit while sitting on the edge of the ambulance. It was nearing dark by now and Lucas had been cuffed and was sitting in the back of the police car that was parked across from me. I could see him from where I sat. His head was down and he sat with Norman peering into the window. I had felt a swell of anger inside my chest towards Norman. I had been sucked into this mess all because of him, but I guess it was worth helping him. I got up and walked to the car, I opened the door. "Hey, Lucas ."
"Hi, Akira ...You're not hurt are you?"
"I'm fine. Lucas ?"
"What is it?"
"I just thought I'd tell you that...I don't think any of this was your fault. And tell you that we're still friends."
A smile appeared on his face, "Thank you. Not just for saying all that, but for helping with this whole thing. Luke was my little brother, but I love him and did whatever he told me to; which was pretty stupid now that I think about it."
"You're welcome" I smiled at him. A police officer told me that it was time to take Lucas to Serendipity mental hospital & Specialist Center, basically a mental hospital where Lucas would be put on medication and get the help he needs; which also means I won't be able to see him again. I know wanting to be able to see a boy who had tried to kill me and killed other people might sound a bit crazy, but you'd understand if You'd seen the look in his eyes. "Lucas, I'll see you soon."
The car drove off, carrying a young man who deserved more than he'd gotten.
"Goodbye!" He called back smiling while sticking his head out the window. I waved at him.
Later on that night, I had been taken back to the Academy where I was to wait for my parents to come and get me. I began thinking about how I might never see Norman again; being that his spirit has been freed and now would be able to be put to rest properly. I thought about the funeral I'd have to set up for Hikaru and decided Norman deserved a proper burial too. Then I felt two arms wrap around me that little boy Edwin was hugging me and Ryle was smiling.
"Akira thank goodness you're ok!" Ryle said in relief.
'Boy I want to jump in a bed and scream into my pillow Boy he's handsome ... ay you just got out of a murder mystery and can see a spirit and now you think about a boy you're crazy Akira snap.out.of.it' Akira mentally slapped herself"I have a question for you..."Edwin started, "How'd you take on both Lucas and Luke all by yourself?"
"Chris helped me." Hey, where did Chris slip off to?
"Chris? You mean the blond boy we used to go to school with?"
"What do you mean "used to"?" And as my mom and dad's car pulled into the parking lot Chris was sitting in the back with a sly smile. He had the same ghostly appearance as Norman did.
"Chris died in a car accident two years ago."
THE END. Or is it?
