I have a testimony of the power of prayer. In a moment I could feel the spirit of envy seeking me. I kept hearing lies of the enemy and comparisons flooded my mind but at that moment, I kept praying over and over for God to fill me up with love, that God will help me not to envy.
Shockingly. I can't explain how totally the envy disappeared. I felt nothing but love for that person. All envy left and what I felt was love.
At that moment I felt like crying and praising God for His faithfulness.
That's when I learned that in those moments of weakness and when sin seeks to overwhelm you, don't keep quiet or try to do things on your own. Simply ask the Holy Spirit for help. Ask God to help you, to give you the love you need. To help you not sin and trust me, He always will.
