As I maneuver around the garage, I grab a wrench and begin to scan the soldiers for a method of defeating them. But before I can come up with anything, I hear Dentry's voice coming over a megaphone. "Come out from behind the garage James," he commands, revealing my location to all of the soldiers, "and I'll let the boy live.". I step out in front of all of the soldiers, and drop my wrench next to me. "Wrong choice." Dentry states, as a soldier proceeds to shoot me directly through the kneecap. I yell in pain, and fall down to the ground. I look up, demanding for them to release Ryan. I did not expect to see Jake walking over to me with a pair of titanium handcuffs. "I've got to say it pal," he exclaims, "but for someone who was able to take down CyberCorps at the age of 17, you really are a goddamn idiot.". He cuffs me and does a hand gesture towards 2 vans. The soldiers immediately reveal that they're holding John and Ryan prisoner, and toss them into one of the vehicles. I am then picked up by 2 men and have a pitch black bag placed over my entire head, completely restricting my vision. As soon as this is done, I am thrown into the other van. The door is slammed shut and I lay there in darkness, attempting to mentally prepare myself for whatever may happen once I've been taken to whichever prison they choose for me. But, as we travel, I suddenly feel like I'm being lifted like a victim in a safety harness from rescue helicopter. But when they toss me onto the floor and a machine arm removes the bag from my face, I realise that they've stranded John, Ryan & I on top of the CyberWall!
As if our situation wasn't bad enough already, I hear Dentry telling us that it was fun knowing us. But before I can demand an answer as to why he hasn't killed us yet, I also hear Jake's voice saying one word: "Run.". As soon as he's done saying this, I spot a military-grade chopper heading straight at us with its Repulsor Cannons charging up. I only have around 10 seconds to think before it's fully loaded with 5 fully-powered shots. As it fires the first blast directly at my feet, I push John to the side and barely move quickly enough to move Ryan out of the way. Luckily for us, the wall has been damaged since I've been gone. This is most likely due to England's actual army's failed attempts at reclaiming London, so now there is a lot of upward-facing sections for us to hide behind for a bit of cover. Using these, Ryan & I barely avoid the second blast and make it to John, who has already hidden behind cover. As I try to think of a plan, the chopper swirls around to get a visual on us and prepares to fire again. As our heart rates begin to increase from pure & merciless fear, I spot a tall enough building near the wall that, after a quick scan, I find to only have 1 thin layer of glass which could easily be broken if we jumped for it. "Ok you two, listen to me! John goes first and ensures that Ryan makes the jump to that building, and I'll be right behind you. You got it?!" I yell over the sound of the helicopter blades. John and Ryan both nod at me, and I give them the order to run. The second that we move, the third blast hits the floor barely behind us. I command John and Ryan to keep moving, and we eventually make it next to the building. John runs and just about makes the jump, but I have to stop Ryan so that the fourth shot barely skims past his face. He thanks me, and takes as big of a run up as he can get. Luckily, John gives him the little bit of help he needs to stay balanced. Unfortunately, as I leap over, the fifth blast hits my right arm and sends me gut first into the window. But before I can pull myself up, I start to slip. I scramble about, but can't seem to grab anything. Thankfully, as I fall completely out of the window, John and Ryan leap to the edge and onto their fronts so that they're barely able to grab my hands in time. They pull me up with only slight difficulty, but I quickly realise that my prosthetic arm and eye were damaged when the blast hit me. So now we're practically doomed: The only people I have in my group are a man that I met under a year ago and his son, whom I swore to protect, I only have 1 arm and 1 eye, and I have the New Militia hunting me down with their new military advancements. As we go to leave, my adrenaline levels have returned to normal, and my body finally remembers that I was shot in the kneecap earlier. As we walk out, I detach my arm and eye whilst John helps me to walk.
