Kai's Pov:
It started out as a normal day. Everyone was begging Zane to cook before Cole decides it's his turn to make dinner. Jay and Nya were spending time together, with me watching them in the shadows of course. Lloyd was refusing to enter the same room as Garmadon or Harumi for more than five seconds. And our powers had thankfully returned, I still don't understand how everyone survives not being 40 degrees celsius (104 degrees fahrenheit for my american readers).
Then, as I was about to blog, I froze.
My body's heat flickered, threatening to drop back down, the room was spinning before it went black. And I breathed in a big puff of cold, smoke. I was back to when I had the staff of elements, but I was outside my body, and the words and feelings came rushing back.
Then reality snapped back. I was warm again, my internal fire was still there, but the taste and smell of the cold smoke remaned.
I tried to ignore it, but the voice kept coming back. "It. Should. Have. Been. YOU." over, and over, and over.
