Lloyd's Pov:
I've been worrying about Kai. Cole convinced me to listen to my father, and what he said was worrying.
"Last night, at about 2:30, I found Kai awake drinking coffee" Garmadon said.
I looked down, 'he HAS been seaming... off? tiered? not like himself?' I thought to myself, 'I thought it was just him having a bad day, I shouldn't've pushed it off.'
Shaking my head I responded, "Thanks for telling me."
Garmadon narrowed his eyes at me, "I shouldn't have had to tell you."
"I know" I sighed, rolling my eyes.
He was right, but I needed to focus on how to help my brother.
Looking at Cole I concluded, "Well, we don't want to overwork Kai if he is going without sleep."
"I'll tell the others to go easy on him at practice, if um..." Cole started nervously.
I smiled, Cole, unlike Kai, was open about his concerns and care about the team. If it wasn't for Kai's overprotectiveness, I would have NEVER known he cared about anyone but himself.
Kai's Pov:
I woke up and looked at my clock.
2:58 pm it read.
I layed back and sighed. that was unfortunately the longest i've slept in the past week since the voice intruded into my dreams.
"Well, nothing left but to get up" I said to no one.
'You need rest' the voice argued.
'Like you LET me sleep' I thought back gruffly.
No response. 'Classic' I growled in my mind.
Getting up, I made sure not to wake anyone, not wanting an incident like the one with Garmadon again.
Slowly, I walked into the kitchen, and myself a cup of coffee.
'You shouldn't have coffee this late' the voice cautioned.
'And you should let me sleep' I shot back.
'You could always try' it divulged.
'Oh, be quiet' I retorted back.
An image popped in my head for a few minutes. Me killing myself.
'Great' I observed 'now it's talking AND pictures. Just. Great.'
Then out of nowhere. Chen's noodle house.
Looking up I sighed, "fine, you win. I'll go to Skylor."
