Chapter Twenty-Two[Oh? OH? HAHA!]

        [Name] watched as Izuku and Shinso stared at one another, both boys sending each other a grin as they sat on the ground and played rock, paper, scissors.

"Uh... Midnight, what are they doing?" Yamada asked as Midnight cleared her throat, adjusting her mic.

"They said they're fighting for a spot to intern under Fear Inducer." She whispered into her mic as other heroes mumbled amongst themselves about how she had left the hero scene a while back when she left the hero commission.

[Name]s face flushed with heat as she hid in her hands, letting Shota rub small circles in her back as she mumbles about 'those damned kids'.

"And our winner is... Shinso Hitoshi! Ah, he's walking off the stage." Midnight said as [Name]s face felt even hotter, she was going to offer them all one regardless of winning or losing!

[Name] watched as Todoroki made a glacier, and she knows she's only talked to him once, but there was fear in her gut as she watched the boy melt his classmate out of the glacier.

'Good job's rang in the background as [Name] stared at the young Todoroki, Shota whispering in her ear, "you think it's weird too, right?" He asked as [Name] nodded.

"The ghosts around him... I can't really make out their face, but I know they feel bad for him." [Name] muttered as Yamada blinked.

"Whatchya two talkin about?" He asked as [Name] sighed.

"Todoroki... he looks a little down for winning, doesn't he?" She asked, "even if he's pretty stoic, he just looks sad." [Name] said as Yamada nodded.

"He always looks a little sad." Yamada noted as [Name] sighed, she wondered how she could fix it.

When Muga entered on the stage Yamada didn't miss the way Shota stood straighter, nor did he miss the way [Name] leaned into the stand, watching her son with her big [eye color] eyes.

And when Kayama's flag went down to signal the fights, Yamada watched as [Name]'s face turned sour almost immediately, Shota's following after.

"He shot him." Shota said into the mic as [name] nodded.

"Right in the face." She financed with a sigh, "next time Kaminari-chan you should react faster against my quirkless son."

"Seriously kid, Muga took lessons from his mom. Him being quirkless just makes him more ruthless." Shota said with a matching tired voice as [name], causing Yamada to chuckle at the two adults, th-they're on the same page! He thought as he held back his laughter.

"Better luck next time, Iida-chan!" [Name] yelled, trying to cheer up her disheartened student who only gave her a thumbs up as [Name] clicked off the mic, feeling Shota stare at her while Yamada left to get snacks.

"Do you want- can we do a joint internship together?" Shota asked as [name] blinked.

"Eh? I thought you hated those after Joke." [Name] teased as Shota snorted.

"Because she kept asking for my hand in marriage." Shota said as [Name] snorted at the image of Shota's disgusted face.

"Can I ask for yours?" [Name] teased as Shota held back his smirk towards the woman.

"We're already married." He joked as [Name] blinked, she knows if 1-A saw their teacher joke around like this they'd more or less die.

"Then we might as well have a big wedding. I have to show Joke up." [Name] said with a teasing wink before staring at the man curiously, "can I ask why you wanted to do a joint internship?" [Name] asked as Aizawa nodded.
