Cora
Cora stared around the ceremony area, where anyone willing to help with the cleanup was working, with an anger building inside her. How dare those rogues come into her home. How dare they attempt to destroy everything the Blood Moon pack built. She huffed inwardly to herself, whipping her body around and almost crashing into Remus.
"Are you okay?" He had grabbed her shoulders to stop the almost collision. Cora looked at him, her heartbeat becoming erratic with his touch, "Yeah. Just..." She gestured randomly around her, "everything. It's a bit much." Between all of this and the way her wolf reacted to him, Cora's nerves were fried. She couldn't tell if this was a mate bond or what, but once she has a moment she needs to talk to Valus for sure!
Stepping away from him with an apology, "I'm sorry. It's just hectic... we should probably start getting to work." Remus shook his head, "We could put your mind on the ones who did this. There are plenty of people to clean up and we have stabilized the surrounding community. The Luna is currently attending to the ones who were hurt, so we could if you want... go into the forest and begin looking for at least a direction in which the ones that escaped went?" He reasoned with Cora.
She thought about it for a moment and yes, that would be better. It would make her feel a lot better to be able to help in this way, plus being this close to Remus is messing with her head. Nodding, Cora looked out to the forest surrounding them. "We don't really know how many of them there were though. They could have gone in many directions." Remus stopped her, "Doesn't matter what direction they took. It would all be to the same location."
"Right. Okay, alright. Let's get going, I'm going to inform Valus just in case anything happens. And you should do the same." She said simply as she turned and started walking for the forest. With Remus following close behind. "Would be faster to shift." Remus said to her.
This guy is full of great ideas today. She mused inwardly before turning to him, "Of course!" She laughed as she began her shift into a light brown wolf which was nothing special compared to Remus. His wolf was silver, almost like it shimmered in the sun's rays. Cora was staring in awe before shaking out her fur and turned away from him.
Remus walked up and dipped his head to the left which meant to follow him. Wolves that weren't mates or a part of the same pack could not communicate while they were wolves so this kind of sucked but it was faster than walking through these woods on foot. She also took this time to think about what Valus had asked her the night of the ceremony about what her wolf may be saying every time she was around Remus...

They'd been searching for hours and nothing, like it had been wiped clean. Cora was confused, and she did not wanna shift back because she'd be naked and she does NOT wanna be naked in front of Remus. Remus stalked up to her and he shifted, Cora yelped and laid down putting her paws over her eyes. This man does not care!
Remus chuckled and stepped behind a bush. "We needed to talk." It's as though he read her mind. "So... zip is what we have. No footprints, no scent. Why?" Remus crosses his arms and Cora pulls her paws off her eyes, making sure she doesn't look at him and sets her head on her paws, whimpering in agreement as she begins to think as well. They came back... lifting her head in realization.
Remus looked at her, "What is it?" Cora hurried to a bush and crouched as she shifted. "They're here! Somewhere. Cleaned up after themselves. Heck, they might still be here." She glanced around, the hairs on the nape of her neck standing up. How did they miss them? She whipped around and a rogue grins. "Remus!"
"Yeah I know!" He said punching out one of them. There were about 9 that stepped out of the woodworks around them. Cora got into stance, which felt weird by the way. She's never had to fight naked before. "What? Couldn't take us on in wolf form?" She decked the hell out of the guy closest to her. "It's a lot easier to take you alive." One of the rogues snickered from behind her, "We just have to stop you from shifting again and you'll be vulnerable."
