Max woke up and got ready, she was running on only 3 hours of sleep but she did have to get her flight to Bahrain. She had decided not to go to the 2nd preseason testing because she was having a flare up but she was still at the first one though.
Max always chose the really early flights out of convenience; the airport tended to be quieter and she always got to her destination at a normal time, but one thing she never accounts for is how tired she is when she has to get up.
Once she got out of the shower she semi-dried her hair then put it into two French pleats but left out her fringe, then she put on some light make-up and got dressed.

She called a taxi, then grabbed her bags and left for the airport. She got to the airport at half past twelve and checked-in, then went straight through security and through the priority line due to her PoTS. The rest of the travelling went smoothly and she had gotten some food in the airport then slept about half of the plane ride, and listened to music and read for the other half.
When she landed in Bahrain it was 3pm so she made her way to the hotel and checked herself in and made her way to Max's room his room was only two floors up so she stupidly decided to take the stairs, and lets just say by the time she got to his room she was sitting on the floor trying to steady her heart rate and trying not to pass out.
Once she sorted herself out she got up and knocked on the door but low and behold he wasn't there so she went to go see Mick, since they were in the same hotel. She quickly texted him and asked which room he was in.
When she got to his room she knocked on the door and this time he did answer.
"Mickie!" She exclaimed with open arms
"Maxie!" He replied as he reciprocated the affection
They went into the room and talked for a while.
"You want to go get food or just order room service?" Mick asked, assuming that she was staying for dinner.
"Ummm" Max said while checking her steps on her apple watch, "We could go and get something and bring it back here; I need more steps"
"Yeah sure that sounds fine, do you want to stop by your room and grab anything?"
"Um, yeah, I need my jacket and wallet but I think that is it."
"Okay, cool"
They made their way to the lift and Max picked up the things that she needed. They then made their way slowly but surely over to a pizza place and ordered a large margherita pizza and some potato wedges to share and took it back to Mick's hotel room. Just after they sat down an alarm on Max's phone went off.
"Well, shit," she said as she turned it off
"What?"
"Forgot to get my meds," she replied as she was about to get up,
