AN: Hi everyone! I'm so so sorry this took so long, couple of things to clear up before the chapter, when Max is with the Schumacher's they are most likely speaking German but I do not speak German so I wasn't going to write the dialogue in German. Also when you see the * being used instead of speech marks it means that they are using sign language, I just needed a way to differentiate between the two, also when you see the "* together that means that they are speaking as well as using sign language.

Max and Gina got woken up early by Michael as it was Mick's birthday. Max had been staying at the Schumacher's for a few weeks since she was sick of seeing the hospital walls and that Michael was retired plus it was the start of the season so she couldn't stay at home.

Max and Gina got dressed quickly and then headed through to the living room where it was all decorated with the traditional balloons and streamers everywhere. Mick hadn't woken up yet and Corinna was making breakfast so Max and Gina went to wake him up.

They were very quiet until they got right into his room before they started to shout the lyrics to happy birthday and to no one's surprise in the slightest, Mick jumped out of his bed in shock.

"Fuck you guys!" He shouted after the loud thump of him hitting the floor.

"We love you too Mickie," they replied mockingly.

They went back through to the living room while Mick got dressed.

"Why are you two so loud?" Michael asked when he saw them.

"It's pure magic dad," Gina replied.

"More like pure demonic."

"Haha, very funny," Max said, sitting down on the sofa.

"Hey, here's the birthday boy!" Corinna said as Mick came through. "Happy birthday," she said, walking over to him and giving him a hug. "Now you lot stop moping around on the sofa and come through for breakfast."

"Coming!" they all shouted back at her.

"Happy birthday Mick," Michael said, giving him a side hug as they walked through.

"Thanks dad."

"I personally think it would be a true tragedy if you had to ruin this day by sending us to school," Gina said after they had all finished eating

"Yeah, I mean it's Mickie's 14th birthday, it's not everyday that someone turns 14, look at how sad you'll make them."

"Yeah come on mum, dad," Mick joined in.

Michael and Corinna both looked at each other as if they were reading each other's minds "You two are going to school," they said in unison, the three of them sighed in defeat.

"And don't think we wouldn't send you if we could Max, now go and get ready, we're walking there so you don't want to be late." Corinna said hurrying them up as Michael picked up the plates.

"To school we ride!" Mick shouted as he jumped on to Gina's back and then with that motion Max jumped onto Michael's which he was expecting and poor Corinna was stuck with both Mick and Gina's bags.

"Come on cowboy! You're falling behind!" Mick shouted back as Gina started to run and within no time Michael and Max had caught up to them, and then passed them consequently.

Corinna was having none of it and kept walking at a normal pace, they, of course, didn't notice until they got to the school and didn't have their bags and had to run back to get them from her. "Ah, wait a minute, what do you say to your mum, you two?"
