REMEMBER Girl next Door or The Runaway Rockstar and do you also remember that It was no longer avaliable, now it is and here she is the author who will explain why!
Interviewing:Pen-for-Rent April25,2011
Q: How did you find out about Wattpad?
A: Well, I really wanted to get some feedback on my stories and I asked about any writing communities on Yahoo Answers. Someone replied about wattpad and I checked it out. It seemed interesting so I joined it and now here I am.
Q: Do you remember how old were you when you joined?
A: Yes, when I first joined Wattpad on my FIRST account I was fourteen years old. Now I'm seventeen.
Q:OOH, so what happened to your first account?
A: Well....I got into an argument with my parents over my internet usage. They claimed that I was obsessed with the computer and I got mad, so I literally deleted ALL of my accounts in protest: email, facebook, wattpad...the works. It was stupid and impulsive but then again, I'm a teenager so I'm SUPPOSED to be like this.
Q:LOL. Thank god you’re not like the other teenagers *cough sixteen and pregnant cough* lol. All I’m saying is did you regret it and did it actually work?
A: Being away from Wattpad? No. The very next day, I called up my friend and begged her to let me piggyback onto her account so I could be back on Wattpad again. Unfortunately, she deleted her account a few weeks later, forgetting that I was using it. *sigh* ah well, but then I got my new account, pen-for-rent, and I'm back for (hopefully) forever!
Q: PFFT. Better be lol. So what is your sign?
A: Oh, you mean Zodiac sign? I'm a Leo which basically means I'm bossy, opinionated, and the king of the jungle which is basically awesome (take that, Lion King!) and totally sums up my personality except for the entire artistic soul part.
Q: And, and you’re my opposite. Yippie lol. Anyways, do you like the new changes?
A: new changes to the layout of Wattpad? No, I think they make it easier to use the site. At least now, I can post stories onto Wattpad with rich text editing so I don't need to worry about italics and all that.
Q: Sounds reasonable. So this year, you’re birthday is like months away, right? So what are you expecting, since you’re going to turn eighteen.
A: Well, I have a few more months to go. As for what I'm expecting when I turn 18, I honestly don't know yet. This year has been my junior year and with SATs and all, I haven't really thought much about senior year and turning 18 other than what colleges I wanted to go to (NYU and Columbia, thank you very much). I don't think I'll feel anymore different than I do at 17 other than the fact that my parents wont have to sign consent forms anymore. For me, age and birthday doesn't really make a difference to me that much. In my opinion, birthdays are so superficial. You're practically celebrating your birth which sounds really stupid to me. I'd rather celebrate something I accomplished like graduation or winning a promotion. Celebrating something you worked hard to achieve for has a much more satisfying feeling than celebrating your birthday
Q: I think that's a good point, but aren't you scared to be on your own and I know birthdays for me are forgetful sometimes because sometimes I don't feel 15, i feel 14. Has that happened to you, you forget your age lol.
