(OMG THE MAIN CHARACTERS AREN'T TANQR OR KREEK THIS TIME OMG OMG IT'S A MIRACLE :O)
Keep in mind everything I say that goes between Lego and Ominous is PLATONIC. I AM NOT SHIPPING THEM. They are just very close friends. Their relationship is PLATONIC.
Lego is a prince in this AU. Ominous is a commoner from another kingdom. Not even that—he's a thief. A thief who lives on the streets and steals from the marketplaces to survive.
Ominous ends up becoming well-known by the king and queen of the kingdom. They send guards after him, forcing him into fleeing the kingdom.
Ominous ends up wandering into another kingdom's territory. And guess whose kingdom it is? Yep, you guessed it—Lego's kingdom.
Meanwhile, as Ominous enters Lego's kingdom, Lego is taking a walk. It's around the middle of the night, and the only time he managed to get away from his family and all his responsibilities as royalty.
Lego ends up finding Ominous, who's injured and still being pursued by guards from the other kingdom. Ominous is out of breath, and he's extremely tired.
Lego orders the guards from the kingdom Ominous came from to stop. The guards refuse at first, until Lego reveals his identity as a prince, and points out that the guards are on enemy territory. The guards from the kingdom Ominous came from leave. Ominous is grateful to Lego, but ends up passing out before he can thank him.
Lego starts a small fire for the night using sticks, logs, and stones that he found around the area. Then, he goes to sleep on the ground. In the morning, Lego wakes up first (luckily). Ominous wakes up an hour later, and instantly panics. He doesn't recognize Lego, and he'd been too tired the previous night to process what had been happening.
Lego explains everything to Ominous, but tells him that he's on his side. Ominous introduces himself, and Lego does as well. The two begin talking about their lives, until guards show up.
The guards are shocked to find Lego with a commoner/thief from another kingdom. They'd heard about Ominous from the other kingdom, and they hate him. Lego defends Ominous, of course.
