❝𝙨𝙝𝙖-𝙡𝙖-𝙡𝙖-𝙡𝙖-𝙡𝙖-𝙡𝙖, 𝙢𝙮, 𝙤𝙝, 𝙢𝙮!❞𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 𝐋𝐄𝐅𝐓, i grew bored again. so bored that i finished all of my paperwork. that's a shocker! i used to let paperwork pile up and reina, my assistant, would yell at me 25/8 to do it. she loves me.
the amount of paperwork is something i wasn't prepared for when becoming a hero. that's probably the reason i procrastinate every time i see more.
i got on my laptop and decided to watch The Little Mermaid because why not? it's been one of my favorite movies since i could remember. i really think i liked it so much because it reminded me of my mom's quirk.
i have never got to see her quirk in action, but she told me it kind of worked like a siren in a way. she would blow bubbles towards a person, and when it popped against their skin, she had full control over them. so, she kind of was like a siren, just without the song part.
when the kiss the girl scene came on, i grew more excited. you see, kiss the girl has always been my favorite little mermaid song. i don't have a specific reason as to why, i just always thought it was catchy. plus, i was such a little hopeless romantic growing up. i can't deny the fact that i still am.
"sha-la-la-la-la-la, my, oh, my! look like the boy to shy! he ain't gonna kiss the girl!" i sung with my whole chest.
"sha-la-l-"
just then i got a call. i groaned and paused the movie, ready to get this over with. i picked up the phone.
"hello?"
"hey n/n!"
"oh hey eiji! what's up?"
"i just wanted to let you know that i picked nala up from the groomers!"
