Marigold: Were often linked to the powerful strength of the sun and represent power, strength, and light that lives inside of a person. The marigold has also come to symbolize a feeling of despaired love. If someone has lost someone they love, whether it be by death or a broken relationship.

I wake up, my hair is a raty mess. I quickly put on my clothes and jump into my stepmom's car.She quickly drives me, I missed the bus on the last day of school. I'll be ending the grade with, B's and A's.
I take pictures in the halls with teachers and friends, and my boyfriend.
I noticed that Demen wasn't at school today, the last day of school. We have the best time of our lives, and I mean gold. We don't have to worry about any rules or work, and we say goodbye to everyone and we leave early, I got to the coffee shop, with Pela, Harley, James, Laden's brother (John), and Noah.
All of us go on a triple date.
Obviously, the oldest pays, Pela's boyfriend, John. He even tips.We all sit at a table in the back all talking as a group. We wait for a while, before a familiar voice calls Johns name.
It was Demen, he was working at the coffee shop. He had sunglasses on, which I think he wore to hide his face so I wouldn't recognize him.
But that's the loudest I've ever heard him talk, it was like his voice was completely different when he spoke louder.
"Guys, the school shooter works here." Pela whisper to the group, than filling her boyfriend in on who he was in our grade, due to the completely different schools we go to.
"Damn, i hope this place doesn't get blasted." James said making a joke.
I laugh, while looking at the detailed drawings of flowers on the wall, as well as flowers that are old and have been pressed against the glass and framed.
Honestly it was impressive how well he could draw, but kinda obsessive. He's really weird. I make a point to the group before we change subject.
James walked me home and kissed me before I went inside, I set my bag on the couch,"You have a good day, sis?" My step mom asked.
"Yeah, it was fun."
"That's nice. Oh and a boy came over and wanted to give you those." She pointed to a bouquet, on the coffee table.
"Oh, I'm guessing it was Deman."
"Well, I just hope he's okay, he looked pretty bad."
"What do you mean?" I asked siting down looking at the card on the flowers.
"Did you know see him? He had a black eye. He told me that he got into a fight."
"What? I didn't know, when I saw him he had sunglasses on."
"Huh, at least he's doing better."
"Yeah..." I say reading his messy hand writing, it read: Tagetes erecta, AKA Marigold, Were often linked to the powerful strength of the sun and represent power, strength, and light that lives inside of a person. The marigold has also come to symbolize a feeling of despaired love. You.
I wasn't entirely sure on what that meant, but I think there pretty. Me? Is he calling me pretty?
I take the flowers the my room, and set them on my desk. I lay on my bed and began texting James goodnight, I was super tired. I set my phone down and look at the bouquet and see a dandelion on my desk. I'm not sure how, but that was impressive.
Driving the summer I hang out with the girls and James and sometimes I would end up seeing Deman, not us hanging out like I'm with one of my friends and he's working there, I mean his works at the coffee shop, the pool, and the Conner store, I know he works at all those places.
