𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏|I want it i got it

Doesn't it always feel so damn good getting whatever you want.

Getting it receiving it
And sometimes taking advantage of it.

I've always got everything I've ever wanted growing up being the middle child and only girl in my family my parents Gave me and got me whatever I asked for,and wanted.

I admit it.
I sound spoiled.
That's cause I'm but it's not something to be proud of,or something that should be normalized
to have everything given to you and thrown to you all at once but I enjoy it cause it's all I ever had Was Things Given To Me.

as i walked into the building making my way to my office and saw my long time assistant Daphne on her computer workng as she looked away from the screen once she saw me and a smiled happily like she always did every morning

"Good Morning Sienna,"Daphne said nicely as she turned her head away from her computer screen and looked at me with a huge smile on her face,as she grabbed her pink mug and took a sip of her coffee.

''Hi Daphne,how are you today"i asked her nicely as i sat down at my desk chair.

"I'm doing great what about you sienna how was your weekend did anything special?''Daphne asked while working on her computer.

"It was decent,all I did this weekend was investigate into this new case I'm working on."I said nicely as I was placing some files on top of my desk along with a black folder.

"Is that really all you did during the weekend?"Daphne said with a small smile appearing on her face as she drank some more of her coffee,she knew me to well.

"Well besides seeing Anthony again yes."I said with a small smile on my face while,looking through some papers,Anothony was a guy that I had sexual relations with me and him made a deal to meet up once in a while just to have sex and that's all with no strings attached.

"I can't believe you're still seeing that Jerk."Daphne commented.

She didn't like Anthony at all something about him gave her a bad vibe she never told me why but my guess is because of all the talk and rumors about his family.

"He's not that bad Daphne."I muttered quietly.and continued to flip through papers.

"I guess he,Doesn't seem like a bad guy to you."Daphne remarked with soft tone rolling her eyes,as she continued to work.typing away fast as if she had no time left in the world.

I ignored what she said.whatever her problem was against Anthony had nothing to do with me.i knew Daphne way too well she never had a bad attitude or anything she was just a Very.Blunt person and that's what I liked about her was her honesty.we were very close ever since the first day she started to work with me.

"Daphne can you get me some coffee."I Said calmly while flipping through some papers.

"Yes,ma'am."Daphne said as she got up from her chair and left the office.

I continued to look through the folder analyzing everything,this new case I was working seemed very difficult and confusing,there was something off about this crime.it didn't make sense for someone to abandon their husband and children then 4 years later reappear out of nowhere like nothing ever happened.

Apparently what Mr,O'Neill told me was that his late wife Natalie was acting very strange before she left,she was stealing money from him canceling her therapy sessions she spent more time by herself than with their children,to me it seems like she was probably tired of being married.

I stopped reading and put the file onto my desk and laid back in my chair,when someone then opened the door to my office it was Daphne of course.

"Here's your Caramel Macchiato."Daphne Said gently placing the iced coffee onto my desk.

"Thank you."I said with a small smile before taking a slurp of the cold Coffee it was something that I needed to drink right now to wake me up I was so tired.

I knew this week was going to be so long and busy cause of all the court trials I have on my hands,I was a very busy woman with a strict schedule.

I Continued working and I was getting everything ready for tomorrow in 10 minutes I had to go to a meeting so I sent Daphne to go get some more paperwork for me that I was going to need during the meeting.i was about to leave my office when the telephone suddenly ringing this could've been something important so I immediately picked up the phone and answered the call.

"Hello This is Sienna Allen how may I help you?"I Asked politely to the other person on the phone.

"Hey Ci Ci it's been a while since we've talked."

Once i heard that familiar voice I knew that it was my older brother Tristen,he's always called me that stupid nickname since we were kids it  was annoying at first but I started to get used to it since then.

"Hi Travis what do you want."I Asked him I didn't really have much time to be on the phone right now I was in a hurry.

"I just wanted to let you know that I need you to stop by my office tomorrow."Tristen Announced through the phone call,he was always like that he would call me out of the blue most of the time whenever it was something important or when he just wanted to talk to me about the most random Topic gotta love that sibling love.

"What For Tristen? Did something happen?."I asked trying my best not to overthink about something that probably isn't happening,I needed to control my thoughts.

"Calm down Nothing Bad Happened when you come to my office tomorrow I'll tell you everything that you need to know."Tristen said with a kind tone in his voice he seemed like he was very excited about what he wanted to tell me.

We continued the call for the next 8 minutes then we said our goodbyes and I ended the call quickly cause
my meeting was about to start.

I left my office only taking my paperwork and pen with me then the meeting begin.
