Don't be afraid

Minah was waiting for her kids in the living room that evening curious about how Namjoon's first day back went.

So how was school? She asked as soon as Namjoon entered.
"Good.. I met Jin and Hoseok... and this new guy Yoongi" he said side eyeing his brother and Jungkook who was already back at house and was watching TV.
"Yoongi...!!" Taehyung jumped up from the couch
"You are friends with him" Tae asked excited .
" No but He is friends with Jin and Hobi, so i might become in future "
"Really!! Interesting..." Tae grinned while Jungkook tried to make him sit back down by pulling on his hands because of the look Minah was giving Tae.

"Why are you asking him about that guy?" Minah asked raising her eyebrows.
Taehyung realised his mom was noticing his excitement " Oh just like that..nothing special"
Jungkook dragged him back to the couch.
"Hmmmm.."minah furrowed her eyebrows not trusting a single word but she chose to ignore it.
"Soo, any cute girls you may like!" She brought her concentration back to Joon.
"Mom.." he rolled his eyes.

Jungkook ignored the over excited Taehyung who was whispering his ideas to meet up with his crush and looked at the elders interaction with mom curiously.
"Why, I think it's time. You can't be still sad, honey."
"Mom, please.."
She sighed and kept a comforting arm on Joons shoulder "ok, ok..i won't ask, but don't be afraid to do anything just because you had one bad experience "
Joon nodded

"Joon i have some snacks at kitchen if you want and I'm starting dinner.Everyone go do your homework before dad gets home. Go, go" she swatted everyone away to their rooms.
Jungkook wondered what the whole conversation was about while walking back to his and Tae's room, which they shared.

"Tae..Why did hyung come back?" Jungkook stopped tae by pulling on his shirt.
Taehyung shrugged "Mom said he missed home."
He said without looking up from his phone:
"But mom said something about him being sad while asking about girls. What's that about?"
"No idea. " Tae shrugged like he couldn't care less.
"It's your brother..don't you want to know?"
"Ahh..maybe he broke up with his girlfriend..he doesn't talk about her anymore..maybe that's why."

"He had a girlfriend.?" Jungkook asked his doe eyes getting bigger with curiosity.
"Yeah, in boarding school. Emily something.."
"Hmm," Jungkook nodded

"Hey Kookie, help me with Chem, would you?
"Yeah.." let's go

It was late at night, and Joon had just finished a conference call with Jin, Hoseok, and Yoongi.
They made plans to hang out after school in Yoongi's house in a few days.Apparently he is the single child of a. Very rich family and they are away a lot to do bussines. Though Yoongi sounded decent he was still not sure if Taehyung going after him was a good idea.
Joon sat in his room, scrolling through his phone, while he saw something. His eyes watered immediately.
He stared at a picture before shutting off the phone and covering himself up with his blankets.
