-outside the airport-

"Dr. Kujo! It's delightful to see you again sir! I'm so glad the opportunity has risen so that we may work side by side once again!" Your father was quite excited, he jumped and took Dr. Kujo's right hand in each of his hands and shook them up and down violently. You haven't seen your father this happy in quite some time, Though it makes sense as he hasn't worked in a while.

"Good to see you again too, Mr. L/N, Mrs. L/N, Y/N." It was barely noticeable, but if you look very closely you could see the corners of Dr. Kujos mouth went up a little as he spoke, shifting his view to everyone giving them each a nod.

"Mr— Dr. Kujo, sir? How long will it take to get to Morioh, if you don't mind me asking." You spoke a little awkwardly, you haven't seen the doc in quite some time and you are still nervous. You thought of him as a role model, he was so serious and cool you always wanted to be like him back when he babysitted you. And to your embarrassment, mini you had a small crush on Dr. Kujo and never did you shut up about it.

Luckily, not to your knowledge, Dr. Kujo has had an experience in his youth that allowed him to be unmoving towards little kids with silly crushes. He didn't bring up the embarrassing memories and stayed in a cool, motionless manner.

"It'll take a few hours from here to morioh but it won't be as long as the plane ride. We should be able to make it by noon." Kujo looked at his watch making sure he was correct.

You're relaxed a bit, knowing that the memories that enveloped you for a moment would be forgotten thanks to Dr. Kujo's nonchalant act. You looked over to your mother who had started to speak, "Kujo! Look at you, have you grown any taller? Goodness it's crazy how grown up you look now!"

Your mother was treating Kujo like a complete child, and though you thought he found this annoying, it was heartwarming to see someone similar to his beautiful and kind mother. The small curl of his lips grew only more noticeable as your parents spoke with him catching up and learning more details on the trip.

It was around 8:00am where you and your family started moving towards a cab Dr. Kujo had gotten it beforehand. Everyone got in and Kujo said he would get on one after you had left. He and your father had a private conversation, you thought it was about work and whatnot so you simply decided to think nothing of it as you finished helping your mom and cab driver get the luggage into the car.

Once Dr. Kujo and your father had finally finished their conversation. They split ways sharing a curt nod and serious looks, though normal for Kujo it was odd seeing your father look so solemn. Though it was quickly overridden by a curt smile and wave towards Kujo, almost as if he had been reading your thoughts.

Once your father had reached you and your mother, he spoke with a grin,"Kujo said he'd meet us in Morioh a few weeks after getting settled in, anywho we should get in the car!" Your father wore an even bigger smile than before, heading to the front passenger's seat saying he would give you and your mother some space to stretch in the car after the hours of being cramped inside the plane.

Once everyone was settled, the car headed to the freeway and you were off to Morioh.

-arriving-

Your eyes fluttered open and you sat up wiping small bits of drool you let out in your slumber, you looked to your side seeing your mom and dad were still sleeping peacefully in their seats. You decided to stay quiet and look out the window.

Your eyes lit up seeing that you were practically already there, there was even a sign coming  closer and closer with the passing second.

"Welcome to Morioh!" You read the sign to yourself as your smile widened, millions of ideas and opportunities passing through your mind as soon as you noticed the first building of the town come into sight. After that building came another, and another, until a new world was visible to your eyes. The town may have been humble but it was definitely something you were excited for!
