The Royal banquet is the most important thing to the town below the castle,  most people who are invited to the banquet were royals, important people, and powerful soldiers but when a poet was invited it shocked the whole land. Why would a poet be invited to a banquet, he hasn't even done anything!

It wasn't long until rumours started spreading about why this might be mostly children talking about it.

"I think he's gonna get banished!"

"What if he gets a title?!"

"What if the king likes him?!"

A cough came from behind the children, they turned around just to be greeted by the poet himself.

"Excuse me, children. Were you talking about me by any chance?"

The children looked at each other and then looked at him

"Yes, we were sorry mister Oliver!"

The poet reached down and hugged the children, calming them

"It's fine, and call me Oliver mhm.."

The children looked up at Oliver just to see him looking down at them, humming. The children started clapping, making more and more people surrounding the poet until the gasps of people started getting louder until the townspeople saw who it was. It was their king in all his glory, he seemed like he was looking for someone, that was then the poet and he locked eyes and he walked up to the poet.

"Are you Oliver Morgan by any chance sir?" The king asked fixated on the poet's green eyes

"Oh yes! I am your highness what do you require of me?"

The king hummed thinking of what to say

"Oliver I need some help in the castle... do you think you can help me?"

The poet blushed, speechless as the crowd gathered around them gasping and whispering

"Oh of course! I would do anything to help my king." The poet found himself smiling at what he just said.

As the two walked up to the castle, with the guards behind them the townspeople started wondering why the king needed Oliver.
