BRO HOW DID I PREDICT THE FUTURE WITH THIS ONE

Benny sadly padded along the streets of Lawrence, Kansas as he listened to another life by motionless in white on loop through his headphones, hands unmoving in his pockets. Term at angels grace was supposed to start soon, and he wasn't sure he was ready yet. His mental health wasn't exactly perfect, and his crush rejecting him definitely wasn't good for it.

If I can't let you go, will darkness divide? For the fiction of love is the truth of our lives.

As soon as he saw the secluded park bench, he sat down there. Barely anyone was at the park, and even then they were a good 200 feet away.

He got into the fetal position and broke down.

Tears dragged along his pale skin and into the fabric of his black jeans. He was ready to end it. What was there left to live for? The woman he loved loved someone else and he didn't have any friends or parents. He had nothing left to lose.

"U-um, hey, are you... ok?" A soft but friendly voice spoke. Benny looked up and saw a boy with messy brown hair who couldn't be any older than 15. He wore a white hoodie with bright yellow stars on the end of the sleeves and on the chest. He also had big innocent blue eyes and Benny immediately knew from how his blood pumped that he was a werewolf. "Is it ok if I sit next to you?" Benny quickly weighed the pros and cons before nodding. The boy slid in next to him and tentatively started patting his head, stopping a minute after the tears did.

"I have a question." "Hm?" "Who or what did this to you?" "My crush..." the boy looked at him like he was going to die in the next 10 seconds. "W..why? What's wrong with you? You're perfect in my opinion!" He almost laughed at that considering the boy didn't even know Benny's name. "Guess she didn't like vampires." The boy immediately wrapped his arms around Benny's torso before looking up at him. "She should go to the underworld if she rejected you just because you were a vampire!"

"How did you know she was Greek?"

"I don't like saying the H wor-" Benny gently scratched behind the boys ear and he could swear that if the boy had a tail it would be wagging at the speed of light, considering his eyes were closed and he had a light smile on his face. "So, what's your name?"

"Garth. You?"

"Benny."

They ended up staying on that bench until nightfall.
