Chapter 2 - The Family dinner

Mom said, "Yunjin the food is done come down your going to get late honey."

I really don't want to wake up right now, my mother said as she woke me up with the sunlight.

I shouted back to my mother, "Okay, coming down in five minutes." I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

My mother shouted at me, "Bye honey, Good luck," and I wondered why she does this so often.

The guy walking next me says, "Well, you have the best mom." Taehyung? I was startled as I looked up. H-How, why is he talking to me? I have to run get away I'm not having this conversation. Or there might be rumors that I am his new slut.

Okay, Yunjin, keep it cool. Keep it cool.

I just shortened my term to "Uh Yeah I know" to get him to stop talking and go hang out with his friends. However, He chose not to, and he still spoke.

However, because I am Park Yunjin, I stop anything that gets in my way, hehe!

"Could we please not have this talk you know between us im just so exhausted today, and its just so unexpected that your talking to me" I replied pointing my fingers to him and me.

He smirked and responded, "Why not? I love it and I know you love it too."

Wow, I'm speechless. I had no idea this guy had this much confidence after two years.

I made sure to say every word to Tae in a clear manner so that his brain would stop acting so foolishly, "Okay, let's get this straight here, okay? I don't appreciate you flirting with me Tae" He answered proudly, "Tae? Ha! It's been a while since you called me that. I rolled my eyes at him, he's such a jerk.'

"Hey Yunjin!" Someone yelled rushing towards me, He panted.

I turned to Jungkook, ignoring Taehyung, and asked him, "Hey Jungkook, how are you? Why are you running it's not it's like you're late or anything."

Taehyung asked, "Jungkook, what are you doing here?" I was surprised by their unexpected interaction.

So they were acquainted? How Taehyung and Jungkook are so opposite that they will never get along. It's still a possibility, but how did they meet?

Jungkook remarked, "I transferred, why can't I tae?" Wait, are they close enough to each other to call him tae?

"It's so unexpected, I mean.. just forget it have fun," Taehyung said at that point, and I simply stood there staring at him and Minhyun.

I asked, " you know each other?" staring at Jungkook because I was unable to describe what I had seen. I knew I was no longer close to Taehyung, and Jungkook was a new friend.

When Jungkook answered, staring at the ground, "Uh, huh, actually, when we were freshmen, we were best friends, but.. yeah, we kind of split up," I felt bad for him.

I said, "I'm sorry to hear that," as I left to go to class.

I smiled at him and said, "See you later, New Boy," before turning and leaving.

"Hey, wait" Jungkook called out. "The teacher said I needed a tour around the school. Can you be the one to show me?" he asked, and I nodded in agreement.

I grinned at him and replied, "Tomorrow new boy!"

After School

Dahee asked, making me stare at her." Hey, want to go shopping later? Jihye has already agreed"

I sat on the bench waiting for my mother to pick me up and said, "Sorry Dahee, We have a family dinner tonight, I can't," with a guilty expression.

Dahee responded, "Your sitting again in that bench, By the way Yunjin when are you going to have a car?" Well, she's correct  Because my mother is so overly protective, I did experience teasing because I'm a mom's baby.

I know my mother does it out of concern for me, so I'm not really insulted by it, but Since i'm 19.

I mockingly remarked to Dahee, "I'll receive my car when I die. By the way, where is Sam?"

 "Oh she just joined this club, it's like this racing thing." Dahee responded why hasn't Jihye said anything?

Dahee grinned and said, "Bye Yun, I have to go, be careful okay. You know you may always change your mind if you want to."

I apologized to Dahee but can not change my decision because it was a family dinner.

I smiled at her words, "Oh Okay Just- Be careful okay Love you," I adore that girl.

As soon as I got home, I went straight to my room to study. and afterwards get dressed up for a family dinner because, according to mom, there was a guest. She also refused to reveal the person for me.

My mother replied, "Honey, Come down and help me when your done dressing up." She asked me to help, so I wasn't angry as I walked down the stairs to do so.

I said, tapping my fingers on the counters, "I'm here, mom. What do you want me to help with?"

 "Okay, can you go grab the fruits in the car, I forgot to take it in." i nodded in agreement.

As you approach near the door, you eventually open it and exit into the garage. My eyes caught sight of a man smoking, leaning against a post, wearing a suit but leaving it messy. I mean, I kind of want to go over and ask what his purpose for being in front of my house. But after that, I was concerned that he might be a kidnapper standing by, ready to kidnap them, much like in a movie.

It was Taehyung when he turned to face me and we made eye contact. How did he know I live here? We changed residences.

Wait..

Does he actually kidnap people? God, oh God! Nooo.

If he points a gun at me while I run home or contact the police, what will happen?

But oh Lord, I don't want to pass away in front of my house. I want to have children and have a future. Is this really how my life is going to end?

He also questioned, "Park Yunjin."

In an attempt to appear cool, I said, "Oh hey Taehyung..Sup," when in actuality my entire body was sweating.

He asked, " What are you doing here?" still puffing on his pot. I don't understand why people want to smoke, especially when they are aware that it can harm their health. I believe it is only them.

I was about to say, "Ohh..I was just..uhm..Getting a," but I already had something in my dim-witted head.

 "Oh, I was just rescuing my cat from the tree. It climbed up but yes, it has already left so yeah lol." Well, that was the most embarrassing event of my life and it ranks as the top 1.

He smirked and replied, "Ohh..Okay, Well pleasure meeting you its very coincidence though." Why do people just smirk as though smiling is the easiest thing on earth to do?

"Hey, Yun come here" my mother said.

I was surprised when she said, "Ohh! Taehyung Your Early! Where's Your Parents Honey," and eventually the Kims appeared.
