FOR MOST OF HER LIFE aaliyah rupa had been unable to feel anything at all. from a very young age she was oddly adept at understanding and comprehending complex emotions, at only 3 years old she would hold you as you cry, laugh when you smile, scream when you grow angry and cower when you get scared. her talent lasted till the age of 7 when she discovered the dead body of her twin sister, laying bloody in the forest behind their own home. years passed and no feeling ever returned to aaliyah rupa, not even the slightest hint of contentment, no cause for a frown on her face, no reason for her once joyous laughter. at least not until an extraordinarily beautiful family moved to the small town of forks.
