❝𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘❜𝐑𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄❞ Anakin called out, alerting the group that the rest of the remaining Gungans have arrived.
Bella and Padmé both sighed in relief, "Good. They made it"
Four speeders pulled up to the group, Captain Panaka and his troops piled out of the vehicles and joined them.
"Your Highnesses" Panaka came before the Naboo queen and Auradelle princess.
"What is the situation?" Padmé asked.
"Almost everyone's in camps. A few hundred police and guards have formed an underground resistance movement. I brought back as many of the leaders as I could. The Federation army's also much larger than we thought, and much stronger. Your Highness, this is a battle I do not think that we can win"
"The battle is a diversion" Padmé retorted.
"The Gungans must draw the droid army away from the cities" Bella added before glancing at her faithful friend, R2-D2, who now belonged to her. "R2"
In response, the astro droid showed a hologram of Theed.
"We can enter the city using the secret passages on the waterfall side. Once we get to the main entrance, Captain Panaka will create a diversion" Padmé explained the plan.
"Then we can enter the palace and capture Viceroy Gunray. Without the viceroy, they will be lost and confused, just as any army would be without their leader" Bella looked up at the two Jedi she had grown to trust the most within the two days knowing them, delicately asking, "What do you think, Master Jedi?"
"The viceroy will be well-guarded" Qui-Gon inputted, staring timidly at the princess he was proud to have met and protect.
"The difficulty is getting into the throne room" Panaka chimed in. "Once we're inside, we shouldn't have a problem"
"There is a possibility, with this diversion, many Gungans will be killed" Qui-Gon worried.
At hearing those words, Bella felt her heart break in two.
The very last thing she and Padmé wanted were anyone getting hurt or killed during this battle.
"Wesa ready to do our-san part" Boss Nass bravely stated.
