Noah POV:

"Cody, what are you doing?" I asked as he splashed water at me.

"Just having some fun, Noah. You should join in," Cody replied with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes, "I think I'll pass."

We continued to flirt and play around in the pool, each trying to one-up the other. Our banter was interrupted by the sound of giggling. We turned to see Gwen and her friends watching us, confusion written all over their faces.

"What are you two doing?" Gwen asked, still chuckling.

Cody and I exchanged a look before I replied, "Just having some fun. Why do you ask?"

Gwen shrugged, "It just looks like you're flirting."

I let out a loud laugh, "Flirting? Cody and I are just friends, we don't flirt."

Cody gave me a playful nudge, "Yeah, we're just messing around. It's not like we're into each other or anything."

Gwen and her friends just shrugged and went back to their own activities, still looking a bit confused. Meanwhile, Cody and I couldn't help but exchange secret smiles, our flirting becoming even more intense.

We may have been trying to play it off as a joke, but there was no denying the electric energy between us. The way Cody's eyes lit up every time I said something sarcastic, or the way he blushed when I teased him. It was so adorable.

Cody splashed me once again. "Noahhh. The sun is burning me! Can we go back to our room?"

I rolled my eyes as I got out of the pool, feeling the sun beating down on me. Cody followed me, his hair wet and tousled. I caught his gaze and couldn't help but smirk at the way he was looking at me. I knew what he was thinking, and I was enjoying the power I had over him.

As Cody and I walked back to our room, I couldn't help but tease him. "Well, that was quite the show we put on by the pool, huh?"

Cody blushed and fiddled with the hem of his shirt. "I guess we got a little carried away."

I chuckled. "Carried away? We basically acted like love-struck teenagers in front of a whole bunch of strangers."

"Hey, at least no one could tell that we were actually into each other," Cody retorted, a playful gleam in his eyes.

"Oh, I don't know about that," I said with a smirk. "I think Gwen and her friends were onto us. They were looking at us like we were aliens or something."

Cody rolled his eyes. "They're just jealous. They probably wish they had what we have."

"What do we have?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

Cody playfully punched my arm. "You know what I mean. The chemistry. The connection. The undeniable attraction."

I grinned. "Well, there is that. But we still have a ways to go. We've only had one kiss, after all."

Cody blushed again. "Only one kiss so far. But I have a feeling there will be many more to come."

We made our way back to our room, both of us knowing exactly what was about to happen. The door shut behind us and I wasted no time in pulling Cody into a kiss. He was hesitant at first, but soon enough, he was kissing me back with just as much fervor.

"You're so annoying," he muttered against my lips.

I chuckled, pulling back to look at him. "I know," I said, still wearing a smirk. "But you love it."

Cody rolled his eyes, but he was still smiling. We continued to make out, lost in our own little world. It was short but sweet, and I felt my heart swell with affection for Cody.

We eventually pulled away, both of us a little breathless. I smirked at Cody, who was looking at me with a mixture of amusement and fondness.

"You're mine now," I said, waggling my eyebrows.

Cody rolled his eyes but he was still grinning. "You wish," he said, and I couldn't help but laugh at the way he was looking at me.

We were both so in love, it was almost ridiculous. But we were both okay with that, because we had each other.
