Ryung-Gu awoke only a couple of hours later, his eyes fluttered open and a small smile appeared on his lips. Seo-Yun's arm was now hanging over the edge of the couch, her hand brushing against his own, in her slumber, she must have been seeking him out. The male reaper sighed quietly and sat up, he shuffled closer and gazed at Seo-Yun's peaceful features. He watched as her lashes would flutter every once in a while, he watched as her chest would rise and fall softly and he watched as slow breaths would leave her plush parted lips. Ryung-Gu didn't notice himself slowly inching closer to her until he felt her breath kissing his skin, he froze, his eyes stuck on her rosy lips like a trance, like they were casting a spell on him. Ryung-Gu wanted to kiss her, he wanted to know if her lips were as soft as they looked, he wanted to kiss every scar and tell her she was beautiful, he wanted to kiss her until the only air they needed was each other.

Ryung-Gu took a sharp inhale and pulled away from Seo-Yun's sleeping form. As quietly and quickly as he could, the man stood up and made his way to the bathroom, and as he entered the bathroom he was his reflection in the mirror. Flushed cheeks, wide eyes and an uncontrollable smile. Ryung-Gu huffed and splashed some cold water on his face, trying to calm down the redness in his cheeks and the pounding of his heart. He knew, ever since the rooftop, he had realised that Seo-Yun meant more to him than just a friend, he knew because the thought of her being stripped of her duties and sent to hell terrified him, he wouldn't know what he would do if that had happened. He knew because he didn't care about the man she hung over the edge of the building, he didn't care about anything but her, he knew he would have fought tooth and nail for her. Ryung-Gu also knew that if it had come down to it, he'd stay by her side even if it meant going down with her, just as long as she was with him he wouldn't have cared. Ryung-Gu would easily kill anyone that touched her and he wouldn't change a shade.

"What are you doing to me Seo-Yun?" He whispered as he looked at himself. He took a deep breath but the smile never left his lips.

God, he was in so fucking deep.

Hours later, Seo-Yun woke up to the sound of hushed voices and cluttering. Disorientated and still half asleep, the woman shot up and stumbled off the couch to the source of the noise. The voices grew louder and clearer the closer she got.

"Do you even know what you're doing? You better not accidentally poison Seo-Yun with your cooking or so help me-"

"I would never think of poisoning Seo-Yun! No need to go into 'protective boyfriend' mode-"

"I'm not her boyfriend!"

"Not yet- Ow!" Seo-Yun covered her mouth to stop the loud fits of laughter as she walked into the kitchen to see Ryung-Gu and Jun-Woong hitting each other with wooden spoons like children. Neither of them noticed her leaning against the door frame, looking at them with a huge grin and sparkling eyes.
