I've been working at Yushow for a while now, everything is going great. I've become friends with pretty much everyone, I even met Yuya's mother Yoko. She was... interesting to say the least, she somehow found out that I was homeless and said I could come live with her and Yuya, I declined her offer, but she didn't take no for answer.
I've been living with Yuya for a few weeks now and things have been nice, Yuya and I have grown to be close friends, he and Yoko are like the family I've always wanted. One day Yuya comes home looking exhausted, and tells us about his dual against some guy from the L.I.D. (Hehe lid) and how he tried to steal Yuya's pendulum cards. I was this close to finding that guy and teaching him a lesson, but Yoko smacked some sense into me... Literally. Anyway after that Yuya gets a new fan who won't stop bugging him about coaching him, Sora was his name. He and Yuya had a dual, and to honest... I don't trust him. His display of agility and fusion summoning. The exact same as... Hmm. Somethings fishy and I'm going to get to the bottom it.
But right now I'm going to have a great day, Yuya promised me a dual and I can finally show this school what I've got, I was making my to Yushow when I heard someone from behind me. "Hey wait a sec." I turn and see Yoko jogging toward me, she catches up and catches her breath. "You forgot you lunch, hun." I was a little embarrassed. "Oh sorry, I was so excited to dual Yuya today I forget to pack it." "Oh you and Yuya are dueling today?" "Mhm, Yuya promised me a dual today" Yoko wanted to come and watch so we made our way to the school.
When we get to Yushow we see some guys in school uniforms arguing with Gong. "Hey what going over here Gong." Gong looks ready to blow. "These guys are accusing Yuya of harming Sylvio in a dual" "WHAT??? Yuya would never!" Yoko looks ticked, I am to, how dare they accuse Yuya of such a thing. And speak of the devil, here comes Yuya now. They then say they saw Yuya do it, but what shocked me most is that they say Zuzu saw it too. Yuya asks, but she doesn't deny it. "It doesn't matter what anyone saw, I know for a fact Yuya is innocent, and until you can give physical evidence, Yuya is innocent until proven guilty.
"That changes nothing" I look and am met with a women with purple hair and red dress. Skip says she the chairwomen of the Leo institute. We all get inside and she continues to say that Yuya did attack Sylvio, but Gong steps up and defends Yuya, as do the kids, Yoko and Myself, and through a quick talk Zuzu does too. "That still change nothing." I look at her. "Ok spit it out, you obvious have something to say so get on with it" "Hmm, straight to the point, very well, now listen closely too my following proposal." We all gather around Skip and she continues. "As you know I am the chairwomen of the Leo institute, the top dual school in the whole world." Yoko speaks. "So whats that have to do with my son?!" The chairwomen yells out. "Yuya made a fool of our student! This is now about honor, honor that we have have now lost." This women is giving an intimidating aura. "But that we will soon restore, by way of our students battling in a dual."
Skip is frightened by this. "Is it hot in here or is it just me!?" We all have this shocked expression on our face but Sora seems to be pleased by this. Chairwomen explains that if we win we're home free, but if we lose we lose Yushow. Obviously we weren't having that, but it comes clear that she wants our school just to get Yuya's pendulum cards. Yuya himself shows his fire and accepts her challenge. So does Gong but Sora buts in and makes him mad, I step up. "Alright everyone is on board, so when do we start?" Skip than speaks. "Madam Chairwomen you have a deal." We all get close and say together. "LET'S DUAL!"
We all stand in the dual room and Sora is first to volunteer to dual, but Yuya steps up. "Not so fast" Now I step up. "If anyone's having the first dual it's me" "But Yumi-" "But nothing, these guys have been talking smack since the start, so I will show them we're not to be messed with. Besides you promised me a dual today, remember?" Yuya looks at me shocked but smiles at me. "Alright, good luck." The chair women presents my opponent, a guy named Dipper, and I learn he's a strong one, but that won't scare me.

Yumi and Dipper take the floor, Yoko held Yumi's jacket for him while the dual takes place. Skip activates the field spell: Cosmic sanctuary. Dipper begins laughing. "Space is my specialty" Yumi didn't react as he had this blank expression on his face, he clears his throat and yells. "ATTENTION!" Everyone is surprised by this and Yumi continues. "SALUTE, AT EASE. PRESENT DUAL DISK, AND LOAD."

Yumi loads his deck into his dual disk and stands at the ready. "COMBAT READY SIR!" Everyone doesn't know what to make of this and are just confused, but Skip is more interested in Yumi dual disk. "Hey wait a minute, that's a black star military grade dual disk!" Everyone looks over to skip. Gong's first to speak. "Military?" "Yeah, the black star is a military base up north, they specialize in Xyz summoning, and when it comes to dueling they're no joke, one of my old classmates left for that place. But to see one of their dual disks here is not very common. How did you get that Yumi?" Yumi looks at skip and says. "That's not important right now, we can discuss this later." With that my dual begins.
