A dark duel

Alright I've been doing quite well, I only have one duel to win and I can get into the championship, I've been really lucky with my duels so far, that one guy with his monarch deck was tough, and that other girl with her stupid fairy monster deck was so annoying. Not to mention the last guy I dueled just flat out beat himself with all those traps that just made him lose life points... Anywho, I just need to focus on winning my next duel, now there's just the problem with finding a guy to duel. 

I was walking when I see some L.I.D (hehe Lid) guys going around, they've everywhere lately but with all the attacks I've heard lately I'm not surprised, but I can't focus on that now I need to focus on finding my next opponent. I look around and ask if anyone is willing to duel me but no luck, the day is growing old and sun soon disappears I sigh, and make it back to my tent in the park to relax and sleep today off. I start making my way there when it starts to rain. "Oh just my luck." I make a mad dash to my tent and make there pretty soaked. I sigh and try and sleep, but I as I get into my sleeping bag, I reach for my pillow but it feels really hairy. "Wait a minute" I take out me flash light and see a guy with dark purple hair, and a mask in the tent with me. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" We both scream in unison. After we both calm down, he explains. "Sorry, I didn't know this was someone's tent, I thought it was mine, sorry to spook ya." "It's alright, it is storming out there, so I can see the mistake. I'm Yumi" I extend my hand and he shakes it. He then removes his mask. 

"I'm Yuto" I look at him in shock. "Woah, you look just like my friend Yuya, if not for the hair, I would say you guys were long lost twins or something." He looks at me and chuckles. "I doubt it, I'm not from around here, you could say I'm from an entirely different world." "Hmm, I'll take your word for it." Outside the rain stops and we step outside. "Well it was nice meeting you Yumi, I better be off, I need to find my partner before he does something stupid. "...Hey uh, before you go, you wanna duel?" "Duel?" "Yeah, I could tell you were upset about something, and a duel a day keeps the doctor away as they say." He think for a moment, and smiles. "Well, I guess one duel won't hurt alright, I'll duel ya." I thank him and we get into position.

Yuto: 4000

Yumi: 4000

"I'll start things off by summoning Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves, and place 2 cards face down and end it there. Your move" "Alright, I draw, and start this out right, I summon Infinitrack Anchor Drill, and it's special ability allows me to summon another infinitrack monster from my hand, Infinitrack Brutal Dozer, and Dozers special ability allows me to summon and other from my deck, Infinitrack Tunneler. I now build the overlay network with both my Dozer and Tunneler, and Xyz summon Infinitrack river stormer. Now I attack your ragged gloves." 

Yuto: 4000-1500=2500

"I place one card face down and end my turn." "You got me there but that doesn't mean you won, since you destroyed my ragged gloves, I'm allowed to special summon a pair of Phantom Knights of Fragile armor, from my hand and with them I too build the over lay network. Cloaked in shadows and relentless in it's objective, I call upon the most dangerous of dragons, I xyz summon: 

"Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon" His dragon roars and spreads it's wings. I'm actually kinda scared by it, it's giving off this insane sense of power.

There's another surprise, I can't find any of this monsters data. "I Activate it's special ability, by using one overlay unit, you monster's attack points are cut in half"

Atk: 2500/2 = 1250

"And Dark rebellion gains those attack points"

Atk: 2500+1250=3750

"and why stop there when I can do again-" "Sorry my friend but I think My monster has lost enough, I activate my trap card: Overworked. When a monster's attack points rise above there original, that monster is automatically destroyed."

He looks shocked and Dark rebellion is then destroyed. "Wow, that's a first, oh well, I end my turn." "I draw, alright, first I tribute my River stormer and summon Infinitrack trencher, and now I activate me anchor drills effect, I take it's level and the level of another monster and they become the added total of the two, and now I 2 level 9 monsters, with them I build the overlay network, I call upon a machine known for splitting planets in half, for shedding the biggest of worlds to pieces, I Xyz summon: Infinitrack earth slicer!" 

My machine gives a mechanical roar and begins spinning it's massive blades. "I activate it's special ability, by using all of it's over lay units I can destroy that many cards, I used 2, so your two trap card are gone." Earth slicers' blade spins and sparks and the fires phantom like blade and destroys Yuto's face downs. "Now Slicer attack Yuto directly" Yumi's monster then charges toward Yuto and finishes the remainder of his life points.

Yuto takes the hit and lays there on the damp ground. Yumi walks over to him. "Hey uh, you ok there pal...?" "he.... hehe.....hahahahahaha" Yumi is confused by his sudden laughter. "Ahahahah, ahhhh, sorry, it's been a while since I dueled for fun, I almost forgot what it was like. It's nice." "You must have had a rough going, huh?" Yumi sits and offers a food bar. "Thanks, and yeah, it's been rough for me and my friends, I've been dueling to get answers, and so far things are just really bad." "Answers?" "It's complicated, anyway, Thanks again for the duel, I hope we can do it again some day." He get up and just like that he's gone. 

"Man, I wonder what happened to him... wait, that was my 6th duel.... I'M QUALIFIED FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!"
