The Dreadnought duelist Yu-Gi-Oh Arc V fan story

The D/D duelist

After my Duel with dipper, Zuzu was up, Sora for some reason chickened out even though he was itching for a duel earlier. Now on to the next duelist. "My name is Julia crystal and I'm a fusion summoner." "Ugh" I grunted to myself, when she said "fusion" I suddenly got a sharp pain in the back of my head. "Are you OK there Yumi?" Yoko looked at me with concern, as soon as she asked the pain went away, I told her I was fine. Zuzu was the one who stepped up to the bat and the duel was on. The duel was one sided to say the least, Zuzu didn't have her head in the game at all, things like that back at base would've had me scrubbing toilets. Sora was being a dick to be honest, not even trying to be supportive. Zuzu tried but in the end she was destroyed. 

Then there was this guy named Kit, he specialized in synchro summoning. That one was intense that guy's X saber monsters really know how to call in the Calvary, despite it being a draw, gong really proved himself with his heavy strong dueling style. I won't pretend that there wasn't another presence here, someone else is here, and I could tell they were dangerous, their presence alone made feel uneasy, alot like... Anyway the guy revealed himself, and the chairwomen mentions his name to be Declan. Skip looked a little nervous about something, my guess he knows who this Declan guy is. 

The duel was underway, Declan starts his turn with his dark contracts, he then shocks everyone including sora with his impressive fusion summon of: "D/D/D Flame King Genghis!"

Just then I pull up my search feature on my duel disk to try and get a better under standing of his monsters. 

Disk: D/D/D Flame King Genghis: Fiend /  Fusion / Effect: If another "D/D" monster(s) is Special Summoned to user's field, while user control's this monster: User can target 1 "D/D" monster in their GY and Special Summon it. User can only use this effect once per turn. If destroyed by battle, or if this card in its owner's possession is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: User can target 1 "Dark Contract" card in their GY; add it to their hand.

"Man this guy must big plans for this monster." I said and everyone crowded around to look at what I meant. This guy obviously aware of the potential of his hand and monsters, and my point stands as he plays the last cards in his hand face down. 

Yuya goes on the offensive but is shot down quickly. Everything he throws at the guy just gets thrown back ten fold, every attack get a just as big counter. But that didn't go without a surprise from both ends. Declan actually complimented Yuya's father. Then Declan pulls another surprise and Synchro summons: "D/D/D Gust King Alexander!"

I Turn back to my duel disk for some info.

Disk: D/D/D Gust King Alexander: Fiend / Synchro / Effect: If another "D/D" monster is Normal or Special Summoned to user's field, while they control this card: User can target 1 Level 4 or lower "D/D" monster in their Graveyard; Special Summon it. User is allowed to use this effect once per turn.

The battle goes on and Declan uses his monster's abilities and summons more monsters, only to Xyz Summon: "D/D/D Wave King Casear"

Disk: D/D/D Wave King Caesar: Fiend / Xyz / Effect: During either player's turn: User can detach 1 overlay unit: at the end of the Battle Phase, Special Summon from their Graveyard as many monsters destroyed this turn as possible, but during the next Standby Phase, take 1000 damage for each monster Special Summoned by this effect. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: User can add 1 "Dark Contract" card from their Deck to their hand. User can only use each effect once per turn.

I'm staring to get annoyed. "Grr, ok now this guy is just showing off-" Everyone looks at me. "-I mean the guy rolls in unannounced and then preforms three different summoning all less than 3 turns. Just who the heck is this guy?"

Anyway Yuya was able to get things swinging his way as he performs a perfect pendulum summon and took out all of Declan's kings, but Declan yet again was able to pull another trick, and Declan was able to save his monsters and sent them away to added a pair of monsters to his hand. 

"Prepare your self for a surprise. Using these cards: D/D Savant Galilei and D/D Savant Kepler I'm going to set the pendulum scale." Declan announced and began his assault. And Summoned: "My trio of D/D/D Doom King Armageddon!"

Disk: Error Error, no data found, no data found.

This shocked me big time, not only did this guy pendulum summon, but my duel disk can even read his monsters data. Yuya is so shock he isn't moving. "OH CRAP, YUYA SNAP OUT OF IT!!!" That's the first time I heard Yoko yell like that. Yuya's able to pull himself together but get's his life point's down to low. Yuya draws and summons his monster again gets this cocky look on his face, but is shoot down once again. But if by some miracle, something goes wrong with Declan's pendulum cards and his monsters disappear. Declan than starts laughing like a mad man and speaks of evolving the pendulum method. But before he can demonstrate, something comes up on the chairwomen's end and the duel is stopped. Yuya, despite this chain of luck he just had, isn't taking it to well. 

I try and talk to him. "Yuya... are you... okay?" Yuya isn't ok, he pushes past me and tries to run but Skip stops him and decides to do a teachers job and teach his student a lesson. 

I myself still have a few things to figure out myself, something about that Declan guy is bugging me, like I've met him before, I have a feeling things are going to take turn, but as to where I'm unsure off.
