Cosmo's Geography Assignment
Star Wish Island
The land with the name of Star Wish Island is an island like no other! A side of fun and a side of relaxation. A place with quite a lot to do, for example, sliding down Mt. Star, relax on the grass of Cosmic Plains, and throw a coin and wish or go for a little swim at Wish Lake (you might want to know how to swim well before jumping into this lake). These activities are possible because of the tall mountain and great icy snow to slide on, the calm winds and short grass, and the shallow-ish waters. I really would enjoy being on this island and I would definitely live on it for the rest of my life.
This island's name came from how it was formed. A story that many people would want to know. It all begins when the first Star falls out of the sky 100,000 years ago and lands on this planet that we call Earth. If you believe there are places that are just like this, you are right, this alternate planet of Earth is just the same as this one. The one difference is that the other Earth has many different creatures that have been identified as Pokemon. One of these Pokemon are called Jirachi, the Star Pokemon. It fell from the sky in an egg that was in a giant meteor that plummeted into the ocean. 100 years after the meteor sank to the bottom of the ocean, Jirachi's egg hatched and surfaced itself to look for land. After finding nothing, Jirachi became bored, so it wished for it to make an island of wishes. Rising from the bottom of the sea, a star-shaped island appeared.
After many years, a family of humans found this island to call their home. Jirachi was pleased that they came, the child had a lot of fun with Jirachi as they would play games and relax together in the grassy plains. Then finally, together they named the island Star Wish Island.
The island grew older and older as more humans came and left. Soon a mountain grew from the center of the star on the island. This mountain grew taller and taller until Jirachi made a cave in the mountain to sleep in. The pressure also created a valley and a river on one side of the mountain. People that came there also made a few bridges to cross the valley. That is how Star Wish Island came to be today.
