I just sat on my bed with many thoughts running through my mind. Did I make Rain mad? Did I offend him? Should I apologize? I guess I was lost in my thoughts for long enough for me to be late to dinner. Dew came banging on door. "Ravin!" He kept banging on my door. I got up and opened the door. I swung the door open mid knock. "what?" Dew put his hand to his side. "you're late to dinner, like its almost over late.. are you okay?" The fire ghoul looked so concerned. "I'm fine.." Dew looked into my eyes. "no you are not!" he pushed me into my room shutting the door behind him. "Okay, you know you can tell me anything? I'm your best friend for crying out loud. I know when something is wrong." The ghoul pleaded. I just stood there for a moment then I just hugged him. For some reason, Rain walking out with no explanation made me very heart broken. It made me feel like I did something to mess everything up. I tried to stop myself from crying into Dew's embrace, but the tears came running like the tide. I couldn't stop. Dew just held me close and waited for me to stop so he can understand what is happening.
I managed to stop crying and moved over to my couch. Dew held me to his side. "You ready to tell me what that was all about?" I nodded, "Well it started with me asking Rain about what you guys were practicing. I didn't know that you guys were a band. He showed me two videos, one with you and Aether, and one of him playing." I paused to calm myself before talking again. "I have to admit I do like Rain.. And that video was.. hot to watch.." I mumbled the last part. I guess dew heard it cause he gave a small laugh. "After he showed me I was stunned. It was too much for my brain to process. I just stared at him. He just got up and left after that. He seemed offended.. or something.." Dew looked down at me and hugged me tighter to his side.
"Rain is quite special when it comes to his feelings. One moment he can be out going and stuff, then the next, completely opposite. He tends to run away when that happens... See it as he got scared of what was next to happen so he wanted to leave to think it over. Hence why he hasn't texted you or anything.. he's waiting for you to make the move first."
I bit my lip not knowing what to say. "T-thanks Dew.." I hugged him tighter "Anything for you Rav!" Dew smiled as he got up. "I'll tell Copia you weren't feeling well. Bye Ravin!" Dew waved back at me leaving my room. I heard Aether's voice through the wall. It was too quiet for me to make out any words. I got up and went to bed. I just waned this whole day to be a dream. It didn't really happen.
I woke up to knocks at my door. Can a girl not sleep? I got up and went to the door. The door reveled Copia. "Oh, good morning Copia!" I slightly open the door wider to fully talk to him. "Good morning to you Sister Ravin. I've heard you were feeling under the weather? Are you feeling okay?" his one white eye glistened in the sunlight. "oh yeah, I feel better now. I think I caught something from outside.. I went out to the garden to see what I needed." I lied straight through my teeth. "okay good.. We don't want you sick.. that wouldn't be good.. Glad you are feeling better! Nice talking to you Sister!" He turned and walked away so fast. I didn't even get to say bye. I just shrugged and sunk back into my room. I decided that I needed to look nice to talk to rain. I went to my closet and grabbed one of my nicer outfits.

I grabbed my phone and left my room. I had one thought in my mind. Rain. Go talk to him and make this right. I quickly got to his room. I knocked and no response. I knocked again. Still nothing. I didn't feel like waiting so walked in. His room was a complete mess. the couch was even moved like he pushed it. He was curled up in is bed. He still had that silver mask on. But he looked off.. I couldn't put my finger on it until I moved closer to him. His skin was a dark ashy gray. He didn't look real. He stirred from my movements. I decided to wait for him to wake up, so I sat on his couch and scrolled through my phone. Soon, I found myself falling asleep on his couch.
I woke up to a small purring noise on my back. Someone's arms were wrapped around my torso and.. ankle..? A groggy sleepy voice spoke behind me, "finally awake?" It sounded like Rain. I turned to my back and sat up. I was on his bed, and he was cuddling me. His skin was ashy gray and he had a spaded tail? "Rain.. what is this..?" I made a circular motion around him. He gave a slight laugh, "Did you think we were humans too?" He reminded me why I came down to his room. "Yes.. Anyways I ca-" he cut me off, "Shh I know why you're here. I'm sorry.. I just.." he sighed and shook his head. I just hugged him. I knew everything was fixed when he knew what I was going to say. he hugged me back even tighter. He pulled away and his eyes were glossy. His hands rested on my shoulders. He brought one hand to my cheek, pulling me closer to him. Our lips touched and I sunk into the kiss. It was quick but full of passion. He pulled away and rested his forehead on mine. "You have no idea how long I was waiting to do that.." My face turned red.
We stayed in his bed, cuddling, for the rest of the morning.
