Into the Unknown

My head is pounding and my head filled with confusion. I wake up to the rising sun peeking through the curtains. I take a look around and see that this is an unfamiliar location. I look to my left and see Kiyomi passed out on the second bed next to me.

"We must be in a hotel "I say to myself out loud

I start to get up and take a look around the hotel. I walk to towards the balcony and take a look outside.

I get startled when I see how high up we are, I turn around to get back inside, then I take a peak at the clock to see the time.

"HOLY SHIT "

I run over to Kiyomi and wake her up.

"KIYOMI WAKE UP "

"KIYOMI, WE NEED TO GO "

"What time is it" she mumbles

"It's 6:30 Silas is probably already home, we have to go" I say

"Okay let's go"

We start speed walking out of the door and were greeted downstairs to the doormen.

"Glad to see your Awake Miss Nani "he greets with a handshake

"You too Miss Kiyomi"

"Thank you so much sir but we have to go " we say urgently

He nods his head and we Dash out the door. We then wave out our hands to get the attention of a taxi.

"Take this taxi to get home, I'll call Theo to come and get me". Kiyomi says

"You sure?" I ask

After giving me some cash for the taxi, she waves me off. As I sit here, I can't help but think about how Kiyomi and I arrived at the hotel. Although I can't recall much, I do recall dancing with this tall man whose cologne smelled strong. The gentleness with which he touched me is still fresh in my memory.

I stop day dreaming and say to myself " Your Married Nani. "

The Taxi driver then pulls into the driveway my stomach begins to drop into my ass. I reach my hand to put the key into the doorknob but the door was already unlocked.

With confusion I put my bags on the counter and I'm greeted with loads of beer bottles on the ground next to the couch.

To my surprise I wasn't ready for what happens next.

*SMACK*

I get slapped to the ground by Silas with the evilest look I have ever seen him give me.

"I'm going to ask you one time, where were you last night?" Silas questions

I couldn't process what was going on until I'm awaken by another slap against my face.

" I SAID WHERE THE FUCK WHERE YOU BITCH, I'M FUCKING SPEAKING TO YOU!" Silas Screams

"I...I...I was with Kiyomi" I say crying

" DIDN'T I SAY TO STAY AWAY FROM HER?" Silas yells

*SMACK* *SMACK* *SMACK*

" SI..SILAS P..PLEASE I'M S..SORRY!" I shout

My vision begins to blur and I pass out.

I wake up laying in the same place the altercation happened between me and Silas. I get up and walk past one of the mirrors that's hanging on the wall in the house. I see my face all bruised up and I honestly can't even recognize myself.

I start to walk upstairs and I see my clothes spread everywhere on the floor. I then hear the shower running with a sweet smell of body wash. I walk into the bathroom and I see Silas in the shower with another women. I see how he's making love to her, how he's touching her body, and caressing her skin.

I couldn't take my eyes away, I was frozen. I can't say I didn't see this coming, I've been suspecting it for a while now. My thoughts get interrupted and I realize I'm still standing here.

"Baby, some creepy black girl is starring at us! " The girl speaks

" Nani get your shit and get out!" Silas says

" No, this is my house too!" I fight back

" I'm going to ask you one more time, get your shit and get out!" Silas begins to yell

"NO!!" I stand my ground. I begin to watch as he gets out the shower leaving the girl in there with the water running. I see him as he starts to walk towards the closet, I look at what he's doing and it seems like he grabs something. I look at his hands and see that it was a gun.

I look back up at him and see that he's pointing it to me. He has it pointing to my head, he then grabs my arm.

" Get your shit off the floor, Get Anniyla's shit, and GET THE FUCK OUT BEFORE I KILL YOU!!" He shouts

I begin to quickly get my things off the floor; I run into baby girl's room and get some stuff. I see that Silas is still following me and I look back and ask him " What am I supposed to do " I cry, while I grab a bag to put our stuff in.

" Get your shit and get out" he says again while pushing the gun further into my head.

We begin walking downstairs and I see divorce papers on the dining room table. He still has the gun to my head "Sign the paper's" Silas say's

I start to read over everything, he gets the house, the dogs, all of our money, Anniyla's savings, My life savings, and the DMW. I literally have nothing beside my raggedy Mini Couper.

" SIGN THE FUCKING PAPERS OR SO HELP ME GOD I'LL PULL THE TRIGGER!"

I start to sign the papers with tears running down my face, There is no use of me trying to fight back. I don't want to get myself killed, so I just get up, grab my bags, my car keys, and run out of the house.

I only have about $200 dollars in cash. I stop to get gas to have enough to head to my parents house to pick up Anniyla. I get there to see them already outside.

" we can't have you over here anymore and we don't want to watch Anniyla" they say

Great just great this can't be my life right now.

" please, I need a place to stay and I have nowhere to go!" I begin to plead

" GET AWAY FROM MY HOUSE!!" she shouts

With a sting in my heart I pick up Anniyla and head to the car and begin my journey into the unknown.

Hey guys!!! I'm back I've been away because school started and other things. I do deeply apologize.

I'm trying to upload daily even though I have practice and school but just stick in there for the next chapter !!!!
