Demons were always apart of life in Japan,no matter if you believed in them or not.they were always just there,devouring humans and destroying things.
But one day a man formed a organization known as the demon slayer corps,they fought these demons using special Breathing techniques that made their senses and skills that of a demon.the golden age of the demon slayers was a long time ago in the sengoku era.
A/n:I think that's what they called it.
But that time was long ago as now in the present it was the taisho era,demons thrives in this time.they got more violent and destructive as ever.
The demons were led by the very first demon and creator,Muzan Kibutsuji.nobody knows what he looks like or what his powers are but the demon slayers needed to kill him.he created a ranking system for strong demons called the 12 kizuki,the 12 strongest demons would be ranked on how many humans they are and how strong they were.they were divided into the lower moons and upper moons.6 in the lower and 6 in the upper,the lower moons constantly changed and were not very strong they also only had one of their eyes marked.while the upper moons haven't changed in many years and had both their eyes marked.the demons were dangerous overall but one man wouldn't let any escape his grasp.
A forest in the middle of nowhere
A demon slayer was walking around the forest on duty,he was on patrol to keep the people of the nearby village safe
He often wondered why he chose to become a demon slayer,was it because his family was killed by a demon or because he wanted to die.he didn't really know but stuck with his decision.

Dust filled the area and the demon slayer was momentarily blinded.when he got his vision back he spotted a demon in the middle of a crater,he looked at him with a hungry look.the demon slayer looked closer and saw that his eye was marked with the number 3,notifying him that he was lower rank 3.

The demon slayer internally panicked and screamed inside.
Demon slayer:I can't beat this guy he's the lower 3!im gonna die.shit!
Lower rank 3:well well,another weakling.this should be a free meal.don't struggle now!
He jumped toward the demon slayer at alarming speed and cocked back his fist in order to crush his head.
Lower rank3:it's over for you!
His fist was inches away from his face.

A huge gust of wind blew the demon away and momentarily stunned him.the demon slayer fell on his back making him wince.
Lower rank 3:HEY WHAT THE HELL!?

A taller shirtless guy stood before the demon slayer and stuck out his hand to pick him up.
