Chapter 3: •"Foe or Friend?"•

ANNA AND I WERE RUNNING DOWN THE STREET SIGNALING FOR THE NEAREST TAXI, though there were none really out because it was extremely dark outside.

I really feel absoltely horrible for Anna I mean that's her fiance, and I can tell that she really values their relationship.

I'm praying that Yoh's doing alright, he has a lot to live for, and will continue to make this world a better place.

I finally was brought back to reality when we finally got into a taxi.

"Where to?" The cab driver asked curiously. I'm sure it isn't everyday you see 2 young girls wandering the streets this late at night, especially in a panic drawing a lot of attention to themselves.

"Kienen Hospital please!" Anna spoke impatiently, while tapping her foot on the black carpeted floorspace beneath us.

"Alrightly! Well make yourselves comfortable, it's going to be about 20 minutes on the fastes route until we arrive!"

I sighed and turned to Anna who was shaken up and looked like she was going to blow the roof off this car.

But her nervousness was the most terrifying part about her.

Ever since I met her yesterday, I realised she has to be the most caring person who puts up a fearless front almost every second of the day.

When we arrived Anna quickly dug in her pocket and pulled out the yen and handed it to the driver.

"Thank you!" We gave our thanks as we stepped out of the vehicle and bowed profusely.

Once the cab driver sped off, Anna spun on her heel and hurried inside the automatic sliding doors.

As soon as we stepped into the main area, I felt Anna get more and more tense, so I slipped my hand into hers.

We walked up to the front desk where a receptionist greeted us.

"Who are you here for?"

"Asakura, Yoh."

"Relationship?"

"Family."

"Your names?"

"L/N, Y/N"

"Kyoyama, Anna."

"He has some minor injuries, just a small concussion and some cuts & bruises. He should be out of here by tomorrow!! Room 504!" She grinned.

"Thank you so much, ma'am!"

We bowed and made our way to the elevator.

We clicked the call button and waited for the doors to open.

While we were staring at the floor counter, I turned my head to look at Anna.

I hesitated at trying to calm her since we still don't know eachother that well, but I thought I should atleast give it a try anyways.

"Hey, they said he would be better by tomorrow! Loosen up, we have a lot to prepare for tomorrow!!"

"I guess your right.." She smiled softly, and turned her head in my direction.

"You know..your a great friend, Y/n! Thanks for that!"

Before I knew it, her hands were wrapped around my body, engulfing me in a tight embrace.

I was a bit taken aback, but quickly returned the gesture. "Thank you Anna, for everything." I smiled slightly.

Who am I to intrude in their life? They're obviously busy people. Don't be a burden Y/n.
