(Here's some insight on who Max is.)
Despite being Ajax's twin, Max was born without Snakes. She was born with a gene defect also causing her unable to stone anyone unlike the rest of her family.
Instead she developed other abilities. They're able to release toxic poison from their finger tips, As well as mind control and the heightened senses such as a snakes.
Max always felt like an outcast to her entire family. Everyone but her twin. He was the only one she never feared judging them.
She came out young, they were only 10. The Petropolus family is supportive of her and always has been in that way.
Max is a huge stoner and often gets caught getting high in between classes with Ajax.
Her best friend and roommate is Xavier. (They asked to room together shortly after meeting and due to max being a lesbian, it really didn't take much convincing.)
She's close friends with Enid and has had a huge crush on her for years but doesn't act on it in fear of ruining her friendship with Enid.
The only people that know are Ajax and Xavier. They're sworn under an oath of death not to tell.
They're very friendly and funny. Always making jokes and putting on a happy face. Don't think that she doesn't have a dark side.
She overthinks a lot and carry's a lot on her shoulders but doesn't show it to anyone but Ajax.
Wednesday and max are close friends. They got close due to their aligned interests in scary things and investigating.
(This story is set after Wednesday arrived but the Hyde was never a thing. Just use your imagination on that one! 😭)
Everyone else is themselves except Tyler isn't the Hyde but is still obsessed with Wednesday. He's friends with everyone besides Xavier for obvious reasons.)
