4. Don't woe

Enid
I wake up and get ready for my classes today.

I'm excited because max and I made plans to get breakfast together this morning.

I haven't seen them all weekend and it feels like forever.

She hasn't texted me back since Saturday afternoon so I'm a little worried but Ajax said she's been busy.

I send her a text to make sure she didn't forget about our plans.

I grab the last few of my things and head out.

"Hey have you seen Max?" I ask walking up to Wednesday who's currently scolding thing.

"Ask your lovers lover." She says.

"I can't find Xavier either."

"I haven't seen them." She says in her usual agitated tone.

"Thing?" I say looking at the hand.

He cowers down.

"You know something." I say walking closer to him.

Thing signs slowly and nervously.

"Bull. You know something now tell me" i say clearly getting upset.

Thing signs saying that Max wants to be alone.

"Alone? Why?"

Thing refuses to say anything else because "it's not his place to tell" so I walk off towards the cafeteria to eat alone.

Max

"Max?" Ajax says from the end of my bed.

He and Xavier have been trying to talk to me for the last hour.

I think.

"Max we're going to be late to class" Vier says.

"So go." i say while pulling my blanket over my head.

They finally let it go and get up to leave.

"Love you, Max. I'll be back after school." Jax says.

They leave and i continue doing what I've been doing for about two days now.

Sometimes I have these episodes where I feel...really depressed for lack of better words.

It's embarrassing to say. Which is why I've never told anyone but Xavier and Ajax about it.

Not even Enid knows.

I know i know.

She's been my best friend for years and my girlfriend for two months, she should know.
