No one's pov

You just got off from work and were ready to hit the hay asap. As soon as you stepped out of the building, the cold wind hit you hard and you shivered.

"Why is it so cold today?" You grumbled as you hugged yourself tighter in an attempt to find some warmth. Cold winds kept blowing harshly against your face, your nose and cheeks red as a chill ran down your spine. You wanted to get home as fast as you could for these main reasons.
1) It was too cold today
2) You were extremely tired and hungry.
3) The place at night always creeped you out. It was dark and scary

The place where the company's building was located was a rather odd one. Although during the day it is usually bustling with a huge crowd, at night its the complete opposite as if it was completely abandoned. Although the lane was littered with shops, all of them had closed down, making the place look more creepy and dark.

You reached the bus station nearest to the office building. Sitting down on the bench, you wrapped your hands around yourself for some heat. You were waiting for the bus, taking in your surroundings in the meantime.

The road was uneven, holes littered the entire stretch of coal and tar, as far as the eye could see. The trees loomed over the bumpy road like humongous shadows, consuming the place in eerie darkness. The moon was barely visible through the thick clouds casting the faintest light over the place, giving it a the look of a scene straight out of a horror movie.

A short sprint towards the next station might warm me up.

With that, you got up from the bench and started jogging towards the next station, plugging in your earphones and blasting your favourite song on full volume.

You had reached halfway there when you ran out of breath. Slowing down to a walk, you looked around and saw a bench and decided to take a short break before another sprint.

"I feel so tired. Like I know you are a hot-shot company but jeez, think about your employees at least. No matter how big a conpany might be, a 16 hour shift is just too much!" You complained to no one in particular, simultaneously lowering down the volume of your music. Even if no one was around to see you, you still didn't want to look like a lunatic.

That was when you heard a low roar of an engine and your brow knit together.

Weird, I don't see any car around.

You stopped the music and pretended to clean your earphones, all the while looking around the place with a cautious gaze. You saw what seemed like the silhouette of a car, the engine was switched on but headlights off.

That's odd, why would they switch off their headlights in such darkness? You're thinking too deep into this Y/n, maybe they just want a break. Calm down. Anyways, you gotta hurry home, its too late to sit around.

Your earphones were back in your ears and you started your little jog, already feeling a lot warmer than earlier. Just for your guts' sake, you had stopped the music. From your peripheral vision you could tell that the car had started moving too.

Okay.....maybe break time's over?

You felt a bit spooked out, so to confirm whether this car was actually following you or not, you picked a certain building and jogged around it in a full circle. All the while you could see the car moving slowly and stealthily, like a tiger stalking its prey, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
