-age 7-

I was hanging out with Kaachan but he had to go home. It is lonely when he is not here. I hate being by myself.

That's when I see a group of kids my age stomping aggressively my way.

I'm not that lonely. This is not going to end well. I have a terrible feeling about this.  I look around attempting to find something, anything, to get away from the current situation. But sadly, I find nothing.

"Hey quirkless freak! Where's your big, bad protector?" the tallest of the group taunts before coming to stand right in front of my small form.

I looked up at him with terror filled green eyes. "I- I don't know wh-" before I could finish another boy had roughly shoved me to the ground.

As hard as I fought, tears still found their way to my eyes. I looked down at my scraped knees and did not even try to stand back up. It was pointless to fight back.

"Aww. Is the little baby gonna cry!" a kid with red wings mockingly yelled out; his foot slammed into my stomach. I slumped over clutching my stomach in pain. I curled into a ball, trying to protect myself from the onslaught of kicks and punches directed my way.

I stifled my cries as my attackers sneered and laughed above me. Passerby bowed their heads guiltily as they quickened their steps to escape the situation.  "P-pl-please s-st-stop." I managed a hoarse whisper. I was dragged to my feet by the collar of my shirt, my feet barely touching the ground beneath me.

I whimpered as the tall boy glared at me; an intimidating glint sparkling in his eyes. I tried pulling away, but he wouldn't let go.

"Look. You pathetic, worthless excuse of a human. You are a waste of space and are only bringing Bakugou down with you! You need to let him go so he can become great without you pulling him down." the boy spat in my face.

I looked at him miserably, trying to hide how much his words hurt. How often those same words crossed my mind every day, a constant reminder that I will never be good enough in this world built for the special and strong.

"Please let me go." I whisper. But he sneered at me as he looked back at the others. A sinister grin plastered on his face.

"How about this instead. You go up to that building's rooftop and you do us all a favor and jump off!" he said as he threw me back to the ground. I trembled in fear, hoping that they would just leave.

And I almost got my wish. Key word here, almost.

The other boys had turned around to leave when my tormentor suddenly stopped with a dangerous glint in his eyes.

"I've got a great idea," he exclaimed, "how about we all go up there and help you!" His sneering face watched me maliciously as he approached me. The others looked around nervously, obviously not expecting this spur of the moment decision.

"Hey, dude. We can't do that. I don't want nobody's death on my hands, even if it is just a pathetic existence like his." one guy spoke quickly, looking apprehensively between the boy and me.

"Yeah, this isn't a good idea. Let's just go." the boy with red wings shouted out, shifting his eyes anxiously. But the tall boy wouldn't listen to them and grabbed my arm roughly, jerking me to my feet.

My body reacted on its own from the quick burst of fear. My eyes widened in alarm. I panicked and stretched out my arms, shoving against his chest forcefully.
