(POV:Reader)

It was kinda boring to sit at a table full of men who had nothing better to talk about than Joaquin's battles and medals. Don't get me wrong, I'm really proud of him, but it just seemed like too much of an exaggeration for something that happened too long ago. Or maybe it's just me?

-"To Y/n and Joaquin! Home at last!" they cheered and drank from the glass cups.

-"A great hero!" my dad continued before setting his cup down and starting a new conversation.

-"Too bad you're just in town for a few days..."

-"If only there was something that would make you stay, like a special girl, eh, Y/n?" I knew what my father was doing, and I could get mad at him but that wouldn't be much fun.

-"Yeah, I'm sure there's plenty of girls here, like the ones sitting over there" he frowned while I pointed at the girls sitting at a table waving at Joaquin with their cheeks blushing pink.

-"But it really is wonderful to see you again, Joaquin"

-"You finally got your mustache, and look at all the medals...what's this one for?" he shrieked and stood up quickly, placing all eyes on him. 'Did I do something wrong?' I questioned myself.

-"Nothing, nothing, nothing! What? I didn't..." I looked at him weirdly before he sat down and asked me a question.

-"Why don't...Why don't you tell me about Europa?" he said in an accent causing me smile.

-"I absolutely loved it! Such beautiful music, culture, art and books! It was wonderful..."

-"Ah, books, art, wonderfulness...uh, you sound like you've learned so much Y/n" I nodded in agreement.

-"I'm sure one day you are going to make a man very, very, very happy, and I hope that man's mustache or his medals..."

-"Makes you very, very, very happy"

-"Oh! Is that so?" I didn't like where this was going, what person in their right mind would be happy for a man with only medals and a mustache?

-"Well, yes, behind every man with an amazing mustache, is a beautiful woman," Joaquin chuckled.

-"Oh, yes" I said, playing along to see how far until he noticed it was wrong to categorize women in such way.

(A/N):
