Sage's Pov

Dang it! I forgot my chemistry book I'll just ask Stephanie if I could borrow hers. Suddenly a voice came from the other side of my locker "Hey pretty lady how are you today" leave me alone Trent go bother someone else. "But you're my favorite cheerleader" 

"And you're like five years older, get lost" I said in annoyance while walking away. Before I got anywhere someone tapped me on the shoulder "Hi, I'm Bree. I like ponies and girl things." 

"Oh Hey bree what are you guys doing here" I said turning around "Leo let us come to school with him can you believe it!" Bree said jumping up and down accidentally knocking some girls books down. 

"Here, little lady, let me help you out with that." Adam said to the girl while picking up her books. "Adam! Would you two quit goofing off? We're supposed to not draw attention to ourselves." Chase said pulling him away from the girl. 

The bells started to ring I was about to walk away but I stopped as soon as Chase started to scream. I dropped my books and kneled down to help him cover his ears. "Can someone please tell me what's going on it's not that I mind I hate Chemistry." 

"He has ultra-sensitive bionic hearing." My facial expression changed into confusion before Chase spoke up. "What was that?!" 

"t's called a bell. It rings every 40 minutes, eight times a day. So... have fun with that." Leo said walking away with Bree and Adam leaving me with Chase. "Do you like Chemistry because that's our only option". 

"I Love chemistry lead the way Florence" Chase said getting up off the floor. "Let me do the talking Mrs. Parker is the only teacher that has favorites" I said smiling as I opened the door for us. Chase just nodded his head letting me take the lead. 

"Hey Mrs. Parker sorry we're late I was showing him around and I got carried away" I said putting on an apologetic smile. "It's okay Sage just don't let it happen again go take a seat" she said as pointed at the two empty seats in the back. 

I had no idea what we were doing without having my textbook. "Chase do you know how to fix this equation" I whispered near his ear. 

"Yeah all you have to do is add the coefficient" he started talking in a whisper but then just stopped while he stared at me. "Chase are you okay? Is something wrong with your ears?" I said concerned while shrugging his arms to see if he's okay. 

"Yeah, yeah i'm fine" Chase said nervously. "Are you sure it looks like you saw a ghost or something" I said laughing it off hoping it would make him feel better. I looked at the time hoping this stupid class would go faster, I noticed it was a couple minutes before our next class. 

"Chase you should leave the bell is gonna ring I don't want you to make the scene" I said putting the stuff away I let him borrow.  He whispered a small "Thank you" before asking Mrs. Parker to go to the restroom.
