"Draya!" My mother smiled and walked up to me and hugged me tight.

I shut my eyes and hugged her back.

"Mom I love you." I murmured.

She looked up at me tear felt, she kissed my cheek.

"Draya.." My father said

I shot my head up and looked at him and my aunt.

I looked back to my mom.

"Mom, I came to say sorry, I'm sorry for the trouble I've caused these passed few years, I know it's been tough. and I wanna let you know that Ima get a job, and graduate Ima make you proud mom.. I'm doing this for you. I love you, but in order to get better...im staying with Jamie and .." I looked back at Donny.

"Donny is gonna watch out for me, remember him mom?" I smiled.

She wiped her tears and looked at him and hugged him. she was so small compared to him he kneeled down and hugged her.

She kissed his cheek.

"God bless you .." she cried.

"Draya.." my father spoke again.

"As for you." I said to my father. "thank you for hurting my mom, thanks leaving her for my aunt whose obviously a money hungry skum bag, good choice, I'll be sure to take care of my mother and aunt Gloria..."

"Ye-"

"Rot in hell.." I said sternly and Donny took my hand.

My Tears started forming up.

I chatted with my mom for a few. Completely ignoring my father and my "aunt" Gloria. I know my mom was hurt over this but tried to stay strong as long as I was present. But I couldn't take it and I knew they needed to finish talking so I was definitely on my way.

"I'll be back sometime next week mom... I love you." I kissed her and me and Donny walked out.

"I'm proud of you." Donny said.

I didn't reply. I got in the car and sat there and cried... I had to.

They probably hurt me more then anything, Donny got in and kissed my cheek and drove off.. I had, no idea what to do from here..

It was a long ride home that night, or so it felt that way.

"Draya... you're strong for what you did.. And I'm proud, I'm glad I was there to witness such bravery... Draya you're."

"I'm what?" I whimpered out.

"So .... beautiful." he sighed.

I faintly smiled.

Donny had changed so much since I last remember him.

Was it the height? Tattoos? Smile? Style? Who knew.

I just couldn't believe I didn't recognize my own best friend.

He held my hand and continued driving.

He finally made it to Jamie's. I looked at him and smiled.

"I love you Donny." I said.

He smiled.

"Goodnight sweet pea."

I smiled and got out the car and headed into the house as he pulled off.

"There she is." Jamie's mom smiled.

"Hey mama." I smiled.

"It's so good to finally see you again." she kissed my cheek.
