Everyone had heard how the queen and the queen of evil had always been enemies, but what if they were once friends".
Two little girls running through the wood's taking in the landscape.
"Y/N wait".
"Oh come on Shay, you have to be quicker than that".
"No fair, you cheated". The princess whined, causing her friend to erupt into little giggles.
"No Shay, I didn't you just struggle with keeping up". Her friend argued her tone light and breathy from running.
I don't struggle with anything,
she stomped her foot her voice laced with determination to prove her point.
"OK then prove it, I challenge you to a race from here to the kingdom".
The two girls lined up, taking their starting position.
123, they chanted and both girls ran lungs burning neither gave up by the time they arrived they dropped their hair wild looking from the wind.
The king and queen along with Y/N parents arrived smiling at the little girls who still layed letting air into their little lungs.
Years had gone by the girls grew in beauty. But things would change for the worst between the two childhopd friends.
Two figures could be seen racing their chosen horses Y/N leading and Shayla gently riding taking in the beauty that surround her.
Y/N enjoying the wind blowing through her long hair, failed to notice shayla talking to the prince Steven.
"Was she always the wild", the prince asked her mocking her best friend since childhood.
Shayla should have said something to defend her but she didn't and she would grow to regret that decision.
"Always she never acted like a lady, even when we were children".
Guilt pooled into Shayla stomach but this was the first time the prince had taken notice of her and she didn't want to loose her chance at becoming his possible queen.
Y/N finally noticing turn and smiled at her friend who noticed her but chose to ignore her friend's smile. Y/N thinking she had upset her friend wanted to talk her she waited for the prince to be finished when talking to her.
The prince spoke for what felt like hours and finally bid a farwell to Shayla she smiled he smiled back but when her childhood counter part smiled he completely ignored her and rolled his eyes at her. Her noticing that immediately decided that he wasn't very nice.
"Isn't he lovely", shayla swooned.
"Yeah to you", the other girl sarcastically muttered under her breath.
"What was that". Shayla asked trying to keep her tone composed.
"Nothing, just be careful he seems arrogant".
"What would you know, your just jealous that the prince has taken notice of me".
"Jealous", the girl scoffed.
"What is their to be jealous of, marry a prince who will only care for his pleasures and having you push out as many heirs as possible. Yeah sure seems like a good reason to be jealous".
A Slap noise was the only thing that could be heard, shayla couldn't believe what she had done and neither could her friend who made her way to her horse, mounting the horse and riding off leaving shayla there who sat ashamed of what she had done over the comment her friend had made.
After what felt like hours shayla decided it was late and she be heading home and maybe she would see Y/N during the trip she couldn't handle what she had done to her friend the look of her hurt in her friends eyes haunted her.
Upon arrival, shayla was greeted with servents who helped her done from her horse.
She made her towards the castle but as she neared the castle she heard a shuffling noise, being curious she followed the noise seeing a couple being rather intimate she went to turn to leave but the face she knew.
"What is going on here", shayla shouted.
Steven, the male stopped removing himself fixing his clothes and facing her.
What was worse, is the females face
Y/N stood face flushed tears running down her cheeks."You couldn't let me have him could you", shayla shouted no longer feeling any guilt for her friend.
Y/N went to her friend,
"Shayla this isn't what you think please calm down and come somewhere else in private we can talk.
The prince spoke, "Shayla please listen to me she had come on to me I tired pushing her away she just wouldn't release me".
Shayla was conflicted believe her friend or believe the prince she chose the wrong decision.
She walked to towards her friend slapping her and grabbing his hand and leading him away missing his smirk.
Y/N dropping to the ground, more tears falling her heart aching.
Y/N Pov
After leaving shayla In the woods I made my way back to the castle intending on resting in my quarters but of course the prince appeared. I tried to walk away unnoticed but he had other plans.
Grabbing my arm tightly I tired to scream but he quickly slammed his hand over my mouth we struggled. He turned us into the darken part of the castle slamming me against the wall I tired to scream again but he slapped me across the face causing my head to swing to the side.
Dizzy I couldn't fight him he forced his lip on my mine with the last bit of strength I had a bit him.
"So that's how your going to be, good I like when they fight."
I heard footsteps I started trying to scream but steven had slammed his mouth back on mine and.
I heard shayla voice steven stopped Stepping back and begun to spin lies to Shayla
