Okay, let's talk about harem stories. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm all for a good romantic harems in a male reader story. But when it comes to harems, things can get out of hand pretty quickly.
There's the issue of how some male reader fan fictions will have over 10 chapters just filled with pictures of the different harem members. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate good artwork as much as the next person, but at some point, it starts to feel like the story is just an excuse to showcase a bunch of attractive characters. It's like the author is relying on visuals to do the work of actual storytelling, and that's just lazy.
Overall, bobbies are great, but too much booby can be a bad thing!
