Akira POV:
It's been 5 years after they finally won against Davon, we graduated few years later and are having a great time. Although still, there was something wrong, maybe it's because of my paranoia since childhood or a gut instinct. Every time Im alone I feel as if something is gonna jump at me going to hurt the people I love and care for and the people that care for me. They reassure me that everything is going to be okay, no one will end up in the hospital or get cursed by some evil being, but I know there is a possibility that something 𝙄𝙎 coming at us, going to hurt me and my new found family.
I hate that feeling but sometimes it's helpful, for example you see Davon right next to you at fucking Walmart.
We won over Davon but we haven't 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 Davon. He has been missing over the 5 years of peace we've been experiencing, 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 is the paranoia that has been eating me alive, 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 is the annoying reminder that 𝙝𝙚 is still out there possibly plotting again to win me over.
But never expected he's shopping at walmart in the soup isle at 2 am in the morning.
He seemed more thin and pale, he wore a black long sleeve turtle next, black jeans, white sneakers, a thin sweater, and black shades over his eyes, his hair up to a messy bun.
He was a good [or bad whatever his motive is] six inches away from me, looking over his phone whilst holding a walmart basket, it had nothing else but food and drinks nothing related to possible making of weaponry.
From the side of his face, Davon had heavy bags under his eyes, and his eyes looked so...Lifeless. He blinked whilst looking at his phone and continued picking stuff from the shelves, he didn't spare a glance towards me.
'𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘵𝘰' I glanced back and forth from the shelf to him, '𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘺, 𝘏𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩...𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦. 𝘐 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘋𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯.'
'𝘐 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘰' I thought, as I eyed him time to time. Soon he left the isle assuming to checkout. I breathed out some air, it seemed that I was holding my breathe while he was here.
This is creepy, God I shouldn't be doing this. But something is not right about this. He couldn't be just grocery shopping right? Something was definitely up, especially when I'm right next to him and he doesn't spare a glance. As much as Im grateful it's just too suspicious, too good to be true.
Sighing from the various thoughts in my head, I looked back at my cart. It seemed like I have everything now, it should be Akashi's turn to grocery shop this month but guess what he didn't and it was almost the end of the month so guess who had to do it. I didn't want to ask Levi to do it, I felt a bit guilty for asking a lot lately.
I head to check out, there was a crow flying around the cashier the employees trying to make it fly away. Davon was still here aswell, not even the slightest surprised chaos happening, as he checked out the crow headed towards him and landed on his shoulder. Employees started asking him to leave immediately along the lines of 'pets aren't aloud here sir' 'Please leave your crow out of the store or at home next time' 'Thank you for shopping at walmart! We hope you come to shop again!'
Davon simply nodded as he head out of the store.
