"This is your family's marui, I hope it'll be to your liking." Tsireya smiles then waves bye to us.

Neytiri looks around the marui with disappointment. I go up to her and hold out my arms, "I'll carry the rug for you."

She hands it to me and sighs, "Thank you Rua." I smile at her then walk to an open area so I can place the mat down.

I walk over to an open area in the marui and put the mat down on the floor. I unroll it and everyone immediately sits on it.

"Okay Sullys fall in." Jake says, Neteyam stands by the entrance of the marui and Lo'ak walks in.

"Remember, family meeting?" Neteyam scolds Lo'ak then he pulls him to sit on the floor with us.

Tuk is sat on my lap and Kiri is sat pretty far away. She's holding her shawl over her shoulders and has a sour look on her face.

I signal for her to come over but she shakes her head. "Right kids, are you all listening?" Jake kneels down to us.

"Yes." Most of us say, Kiri stays quiet but is still listening.

"You all need to be on your best behaviour here, okay?" Jake looks at us seriously, Neytiri is unpacking all our belongings.

We all nod and Kiri let's out a quiet "Mhm." I pick up Tuk and place her next to me, she looks up at me as I get up and walk towards Kiri.

"Want to go swim?" I ask her, she looks up at me then nods.

"We're coming too!" Tuk shouts. Lo'ak and Neteyam look at each other and then race each other to the water.

Tuk runs after them and I hear Neytiri laugh. I grab Kiris hand and pull her as I run to the water.

Neteyam and Lo'ak are already in the water and Tuk is about to jump in. "Tuk jump quickly!" I'm running quickly to where she is.

She screams and jumps in the water. I push Kiri in then I jump in.

I watch Kiri swim off towards the coral while me and the others are listening to Tsireya, Rotxo, and Ao'nung.

"We cannot understand this hand language you do." Neteyam says, Tuk climbs onto his back but he manages to stay above the water.

"My sister will teach you. But firstly, if you want to live here, you have to ride." Ao'nung starts to make a sound mocking Ilu noises.

Four ilu surround us. Tuk jumps off Neteyams back and swims towards one. "They're so cute!" She strokes one of the ilus neck and it makes high pitched noises.

"Tuk, come with me. I will show you your ilu! Lo'ak you come as well, your ilu is with Tuks." Tsireya holds Tuks hand and they swim towards shallower water. Lo'ak makes sure to keep up with Tsireya.

"Rotxo, you help out Neteyam with his ilu. I'll help out this one." Ao'nung grabs onto my soon to be ilus handle and pulls it gently while he swims towards me.

I look at Ao'nung intimidatingly and he does the same. "This is your ilu. Make the bond gently." He holds onto the handle on the ilu.

I grab my kuru then slowly get on the ilu. Before I can make the bond Ao'nung shouts at the Ilu and it starts to swim fastly.

I grab onto the handle and I hear Ao'nung laughing while I get further away. "You skxawng!" I shout. I quickly grab my kuru and then struggle to grab the ilus kuru.

I finally grab it and slowly make the bond. "Stop!" I shout. The ilu slows down and my breath slows.

Neteyam quickly swims over to me on his Ilu, "Are you okay Rua?" He places his hand on my shoulder and pulls me so I'm facing him.

"I'm going to kill that skxawng." I swim fastly towards Ao'nung and unlink my kuru from the ilu. Rotxo is shouting at him but Ao'nungs ignoring him.

I stand up when I reach shallow water and quickly walk towards him. "Rua don't!" I hear Neteyam getting closer but I don't listen to him.

I push Ao'nung and he falls to the floor, "You freak! Don't touch me!" He quickly gets up and pushes me back.

"Don't ever fuck with me like that again! Not only did you scare me but you scared that ilu." I slap his face and his eyebrows furrow.

"I swear I'll kill yo-" He gets cut off by a deep voice shouting.

"What is this!?" Tonowari quickly walks up to us. I see Jake run out the marui and run next to Tonowari.

"Father she pushed me!" I stare up at Ao'nung. He wasn't lying, he just needs to say why.

"What did I just tell you Rua! Stay out of trouble!" Jake walks up to me and pulls me off the ground.

"But the skxawng star-" Jake stares at me with wide eyes and I stop talking.

"Let her speak Jake." Tonowari puts his hand on Jakes shoulder and he stops walking.

I pull my wrist out of Jakes grasp and turn to Tonowari. "Your son scared the ilu I was about to bond with, causing me to have to grab onto it while it was swimming further away from the shore!"

"So when I got back to the shore I pushed him onto the floor shouted at him and slapped him." I stare at Ao'nung, who is getting scolded by Tsireya. I didn't notice Tsireya was here.

"And I'm assuming he pushed you back since you were on the floor?" I nod at Tonowari after he speaks.

"Well it seems you both were equally as bad. I don't want to hear anything like this has happened again." Tonowari walks off and Jake looks at me with a disappointed look.

My ears lower and I get back on my Ilu. I scowl at Ao'nung before I swim off.
