Frozen Butterfly (Arknights x MaleReader)

Ursus Emergency (Pt. 2)

Rhodes Islands had just got a aerial view of Chernobog. By the time they arrived a quarter of the city was covered in a heavy snow storm Amiya being the only one in the squad that originally retrieved (Y) was the only one not really worried about it... but (Y) did leave without a communication device so they have no idea of what's going on. Amiya then decided to land into the snow storm. Knowing what happened previously (Y) will alow them safe passage into the snow storm.

Which was proven right as the snow clouds parted to let them in. While they were landing they saw many butterflys on frozen corpses watching them... it was unsettling.

Nearl: "What the hell is all of this..."

Amiya: "Elite Operator: Snowfly's debut... if you will... this will be the first time we see him fight. He's usually calm and collected... and a total dad it's kinda cute. But whatever happened here... it's scary."

Doctor: "Wait! The guy who sings well and is too wholesome for his own good can freeze a quarter of a city!?"

Amiya: "he's restraining himself... we found him here 2 months ago and the whole city was frozen. He can do more than this."

???: "I do not like violence... but senseless killing is something I cannot stand."

The group turn around to see (Y) with a sad smile on his face. He was carrying a bunny girl on his back.

Amiya: "(Y)- I mean Snowfly! your Here! And whose that?"

(Y): "one of there leaders... we need information. All I know is that there called Reunion. A butterfly will be around you at all times to grant you safe passage in the snow storm... I have a feeling that the whole group is here... the snow storm will expand through out the city in the next 30 minutes and Reunion will start to freeze. I want everyone to focus on search and rescue. If I need anything the butterflys colour will change to orange."

With that being the final word he says he puts Frostnova down and dissappears into the snow.

Rosmontis looked at him with a stars in her eyes as she kept the dead look.

Nearl and Doberman were terrified.

Doctor was smug

And Amiya just giggled.

This man is an enigma.

Reunions forces were in disarray. A single man has taken down more then half of there army while just walking down the street. All of the civilians and Ursus guards were fine a bit cold but fine. This man was making his way towards the town center where a certain old snake in the body of a Draco lady was furious. He planed for everything and this one factor ruined his plans. The body he had did nothing he even tried to shift his subconscious again...

but the snow was preventing him. His Arts were nullified and he had no idea why. His best option was to escape whatever was happening and start over. The only problem is he will need a new chess board and new pieces for this game if everyone dies... he needs to save some of them.

A man in heavy armor was running through the heavy snow storm. After he was told he lost communications with his daughter he got worried and threw out rationality to save his daughter... he will not loose another child.

Patriot one of the strongest leaders in reunion, was used to snow storms... but this one was probably the most violent and cold one he has ever felt. It also didn't help that he felt like he was being watched. As he was running he saw a butterfly... it then fluttered near him as he started to feel... warm. His sore throat was also gone and alot of the black Crystal's feel out of his body. At first he was stunned and then he looked at the butterfly... beckoning him to follow... he readied his weapon just incase and followed the butterfly to a small park that is now covered in snow in the middle or the park was a heli-craft alot of people were there mostly civilians and some... Rhodes Island operator's. He stayed back until he felt someone behind him. He turned around and saw a man look at him. He was pale... too pale. And the cold around him was unbearable. But he had the look of pity on him.

???: "So... you are also a father... a care taker."

Patriot: "Who are you."

(Y): "Simply put... I'm another father. Let me get your daughter... she was suffering like you were. I am glad that I can lesson the affect that Orpathy held on you."

With that the man walked towards the make shift camp. The man was about to follow him until he was stopped by ice.

(Y): "as much as I would love for you to follow me... some of the civilians wouldn't appreciate that. Your daughter is fine I'm sure she just woke up from her sleep aswell."

The man disappeared as the wind picked up and then re-appeared behind Patriot.

Frostnova was confused as she just woke up and was about to be questioned until she felt the wind pick up and now she's here with her father right in front of her. She didn't even know she was in someone's arms until she felt like she was being put down.

She looked behind herself and saw the same man that knocked her out look at her with softer... more gentle eyes.

(Y): "I understand a fathers urge to protect... I recently adopted an infected Draco girl... Annabelle is such a sweetheart. She loves flowers and plants. She's super excited to learn about plants and animals. So innocent and unrestrained... I do wish the world wasn't so cruel... I wish to make a place where my daughter doesn't have to fear being killed just because she's infected. I do understand what you... reunion are doing... but this isn't the right way. You will only make the infected more feared then they already are. You look at the people and slaughter them... even if they themselves don't have any hate towards the infected. I have lowered your burden... but it's not gone. I cannot heal Orpathy... only destroy some of it. Doing to much will completely freeze your blood. I am sorry that I had to kill your men... I do not enjoy it. But some are to far gone."

(Y) looks at the two with a sad smile as the storm starts to disappear.

(Y): "as much as I would love to stop this all here and now... time has to play out. We will meet again and next time... I hope we aren't enemies. You two deserve to live like a normal family."

A butterfly lands on Patriot's hand on one on Frostnova's head as they flake away when they touch the two.

(Y): "Luckily... you will not end like me... a Ghost made of ice."

(Y) shatters into ice... all that is left is the snow and corpses of ruinon... no longer reaching for salvation instead laying down and resting peacefully.

The airship and small camp were gone... nothing left other then the small family wondering what just happened.

The Aircraft ride back to Rhodes Island was quite... well except for (Y) the children gathered around him as they played with him. Amiya and the doctor had nose bleeds and were taking photos of the whole event as Rosmontis was on (Y) shoulders with a tiny smile...

He has just adopted a cat.
