My time to perform finally came, the program started just 10 minutes ago but it felt like I had to wait for literal years.

I was still shocked that my songs was one of the candidates for most popular song of the week. It was a very pleasant surprise, I won't lie I wasn't expecting that at all but I guess my hard work paid off.

I put my mic and in-ear on and entered the stage. I got to the center and waited for the music to start.

Even though I was a bit nervous I sang and danced well and the performance turned out very good in my opinion. I also got my very first ending fairy moment, I did a cute winkeu.

I went off stage and while I was going back to my room, I saw Stray Kids on their way to the stage area.

When we got closer I bowed and tried to say hi but no sound came out from my mouth as I was in complete awe in front of their beauty and charm. They bowed back and softly smiled at me.

Am I dreaming? Did I really meet Stray Kids? Am I allucinating? Maybe I sniffed too much this morni- wait what

Still confused I got to my changing room and immediately sat on the sofa. I was mentally fangirling on eight guys who literally just bowed and smiled at me once. But come on, everyone has their small delulu moments.

I watched all the other artists perform and they all did amazing performances but Stray Kids just took it a step higher. Their performance was completely outstanding, it exceeded all my expectations.

After I saw their performance I was almost 100% sure that they would have won, I mean I still hoped to win but I felt a bit discouraged after seeing how good they were.

All the performances ended and the live voting started. All the artists went on the stage and lined up, I was right next to I.N.

We all waited for the votings to end, the hosts announced that the two finalists songs were mine and Stray Kids'.

The hosts the proceeded to communicate us the results

"And the winner is... Y/n with her song 'Without Place'!"

Golden confetti came flying and everyone clapped.

I-i won? But Maniac was so good... The host handed me the award and I didn't really know what to do. Was I supposed to give a speech? Or to just bow and smile?

The groups in front of me split and made me a path to the stand-up microphone.

"I'd like to thank everyone for their love and support. I hope that we can continue to enjoy music together" I said

I then smiled brightly and bowed. The hosts finished with a small ending skit and the cameras went off.

We all went backstage back to our changing rooms. Before I could get in, Stray Kids stopped me.

"Hello Y/n. Congratulations on your first ever win" Bang Chan said on behalf of the group

"Oh hello. Thanks a lot" I thanked them with a bow " I'm very sorry though. Maniac is so good. You guys deserved to win a lot more than me"

After what I said they all seemed surprised.

"You liked our performance?" I.N asked

"Yeah, I mean the songs and the album are great"

"So-" they got cut off by their manager calling them

"Oh we need to go. See ya"

"Byeee" I waved while getting into the changing room.

I removed part of the make-up and changed to my normal outfit.

I then picked up all my things and exited the building. It was march but it was still kinda cold. I was walking to the point where my driver would pick me up when a voice made me turn back.

"Hey Y/n, wait!" a familiar voice said from behind

I heard some fast steps and then turned to see who that was.

To my surprise it was I.N, running to catch up with me.

"Oh hi, I.N!" I greeted him

"Did you already eat?"

"No actually. I was too nervous to even be able to eat anything. Did you?"

"No me neither" he did his cute signature smile "Wanna come eat something with me? If you don't have anything else to do obviously"

"Sure, I'd love to" I happily replied smiling back

"What would you like to eat?"

"Everything is fine, you can choose"

As long as I'm with you, everything becomes better.

"There's a new pizza place down the street. Want to check it out?"

"Sure let's go"

We walked side by side to the restaurant while carelessly talking about anything came through our mind. The conversation was really random and I'm pretty sure that if someone heard us they would probably think we're crazy af.

We got to the restaurant, got in and took a seat. We sat opposite to each other and the waiter brought us the menu.
There were A LOT of options to choose from, there literally were more options than brain cells in my head.

"What do you want to order?" He asked me lifting his eyes fron the menu

"I think a pizza with ham could be good. You?"

"I'll get the classic one. Less is more they say"

A poetic fellow, I see...

The waiter took our orders and then went to the kitchen disappearing from our sight.

"How does it feel to finally make your debut?" He asked

"It's... good. I guess. It does feel rewarding, it feels like my efforts weren't wasted."

"Yeah, I remember that I felt the same when I debuted. It really felt like I was getting somewhere."

"It's 4 years since your debut in a week, innit?" I asked tilting my head

"Yes, 25th March." he nodded "How do you know that?"

"Uhm... Why shouldn't I know it?"

"You can't answer a question with another question. Plus I'm just curious, I want to know"

Our conversation was interrupted by the waiter delivering us our pizzas.

We thanked as he got back to the kitchen.

We started to eat. The pizza was just amazing, the cheese was melting in your mouth and the ham was adding a special flavour to every bite.

"Wow, this pizza tastes just great. I feel like I could eat it every day" I said adoring the food

"Yeah it tastes heavenly."
